 Complex Population: 32 At noon, the same tone from the morning rings out, and Judy's voice filters out over the intercom. "Good afternoon, residents. As per Safety Protocol 6227-A, it is time to conduct a trial to bring justice for the victim. Please proceed to the courtroom on the first level." Just as at night, if you don't go to the courtroom, you'll be treated to an electric shock of increasing strength until you go to the courtroom or are unconscious. Though considering the ominous penalty for not participating in a trial, you should likely just go rather than risk not voting because you've been knocked out by your own stubbornness... Once you're in the courtroom, you'll find that bottled water and light snacks are provided, but otherwise you'll have to bring anything else you may need. As you come to your conclusions about who to vote for, you can step into the judgement theater to cast your vote at the terminal. You may change your vote as many times as you'd like, but at 7PM, your vote (or lack thereof) is locked in. So both of the people who have been killed so far have some things in common - they're kids, they're small, and whoever did it chopped a foot off from both of them. Is there any way we can use that to narrow down who might have done it?

The great advantage of the staff is that we have no way to narrow them down. Therefore, they would necessarily avoid, at this point, any target that might lead to a theory that would accidentally implicate them. The ideal victim would be a victim who would not, in any way, lead back to one of them individually.
I would imagine that Charles Fei-ong was chosen as a victim because none, or very few, of the staff ever spoke to him. The same is likely true of Rayfa Padma Khura'in. I would propose, then, that at least for Charles, it is very unlikely one of his roommates is a member of the staff.

There's still over thirty of us alive and in this room. Chances are that we aren't going to just guess and be right. I can sure as hell tell you that if they have a habit of killing children, they aren't going to be the most vocal people at a time like this.

There are...a few things that has been going around my head for a while already.

It's supposed the staff members among us are the culprits, as in there's a whole group of people doing it. I don't deny that could be true, but I doubt all the staff members contribute to the murders. I don't know if they could alternate who kills each person, or if they have some sort of rule among them, that doesn't matter:
My point is that the culprit who killed Charles and the culprit who killed Rayfa may not be the same person.
[Now that it has been established, there's something else too...]
Why were they chosen? I can't say it with certainty, but one would think it's because the killer wanted someone who wouldn't be able to fight back. That's a possibility, but there's another one: it's possible the killer chose Charles or Rayfa because they couldn't choose anyone stronger.
What if the culprit is someone young or frail, too?
[And finally...]
The last thing I have been thinking about was about how the victims were taken out of the rooms. Everyone except staff members return to their rooms and fall asleep, so Rayfa and Charles did too. How did the killers get the victims? I suppose it means the staff members have ways to enter the apartments.
I suggest to create a barricade, making sure there's no way to disable it from the outside and there's some way to notice if it was taken apart and put again later. If the barricade is modified during the night or outright destroyed, or if someone dies, that could narrow down things a bit.

That aside, there's something else I want to bring up that I noticed... [And that's when she turns to look at Alfendi] Alfendi, you've been having memory issues haven't you? I want to ask for how long.
And please don't take this the wrong way. I'm not accusing you of anything, but I want to know if anyone else has had issues similar?
Because after the glass broke, you completely snapped at me and told me we never once talked. Then you blacked out in front of me, and you were acting like we didn't just have an argument. You even remembered our talk at the gym perfectly, even a minute ago you told me you didn't remember.
If you're experiencing these kind of memory issues, I wonder if anyone else has. It would be a huge issue if true.

...If I have to be honest, I didn't really notice much of anything until I talked with Dojima before the first trial. We were discussing the profiles, and he said I should be a detective, with the skills I have listed under my profile, but...I don't remember ever having that profession or applying to be one. I feel like I should remember, but it escaped me, and still does.
[A pause.] I waved it aside at that moment, but then, at the trial, Diva said something interesting...she said that she had the funny feeling that she remembered someone like Charles, a "knight" of sorts, but she didn't know why. I haven't noticed anyone else experience anything of the like, but I can't help but feel that something's off with me, for sure - I'm certainly not liable to keep blacking out every so often as I have been doing for the last few days.

Time's ticking and we haven't a clue where to even start sniffing for a trail. I've begun thinking of some topics that are getting glazed over in our panic of terminal punching and namechanging.
[ SO. Here we go. ]
The first item I'd like to discuss while we have the time to do so is the missing bracelets. It seems there's a pattern, which implies that there's some sort of need for these devices. I've discussed with a few others what this could mean - it could mean a component or part of the bracelet is crucial in some grander scheme. Someone skilled must have access as a staff member and the knowledge to dismantle since there seemed to be blood on the terminal in the workshop area. I believe someone who can build or dismantle electrical or machinery could have some knowledge we desperately need. Judy confirmed that the terminals don't hold anything we don't have access to - but that phrasing was curious.
[ Elizabeth begins pacing a bit, chewing on her thumb before continuing. ]
Alice is also sick after coming in contact with the body part in the fountain. This is worthy of pursuing as well, but is a low priority.
[ And finally. ]
The last thing I'd like to discuss is your thoughts on how we're all seemingly falling asleep at the same time. I would like to throw out my own theory - specifically something I noted. We could not find anything in the vents, but there are vents around the facility on the ceiling. They're far too tiny to travel inside, but that's fine. It got me thinking. Either some chemical being leaked into the rooms or our bracelets could be the culprit. Some drugs have the ability to put one to sleep, but also with extended use, could cause memory loss. It could explain a lot of problems that we've been encountering here.

I'm not sure how this can impact voting since no one will take claim or cast suspicion, but as time ticks on... it's interesting to note these theories.
