trial #2
![]() Complex Population: 32 At noon, the same tone from the morning rings out, and Judy's voice filters out over the intercom. "Good afternoon, residents. As per Safety Protocol 6227-A, it is time to conduct a trial to bring justice for the victim. Please proceed to the courtroom on the first level." Just as at night, if you don't go to the courtroom, you'll be treated to an electric shock of increasing strength until you go to the courtroom or are unconscious. Though considering the ominous penalty for not participating in a trial, you should likely just go rather than risk not voting because you've been knocked out by your own stubbornness... Once you're in the courtroom, you'll find that bottled water and light snacks are provided, but otherwise you'll have to bring anything else you may need. As you come to your conclusions about who to vote for, you can step into the judgement theater to cast your vote at the terminal. You may change your vote as many times as you'd like, but at 7PM, your vote (or lack thereof) is locked in. You have until 7PM to discuss and vote for who you think the murderer is. ic rulebook character statuses character profiles Voting will close at 9PM EST on 10/15. voting |

Yeaaaah, Alvin has a point. Theories are great and all but it's less "who killed this girl" and more long term mystery crap. What we should do now is more pressing and that might be focusing on whatshername. The girl? Ray?

[ It's not threatening, but Liz wouldn't blab and put a target on her back for no reason. ]
The girl was stabbed and we saw the seeming murder weapon. We have no detective kit or other such things to take fingerprints, so... this was all I could offer.

Lady, what the fuck. You're starting to scare the crap out of me, FYI.
[ stop talking like that to the dude who always thinks everyone's gonna murder him!! he can't handle the anxiety!! ]
With the whole -- the whole...
[ actually wait. he freezes, looking really ill for a moment before -- ]

Guess he really can't handle a strong, independent and assertive woman. [still.] Pretty sure he wasn't going to be offering much help in the voting department anyway if he lost his stomach that quick.

[Dojima comes by, and when he gets there he remembers he has a leg wounded. There's no way he can drag Rhys away...well, he could but it'd be painful and very awkward.
But since Dojima is here, well, may as well check if the terminal is even more damaged now. Rhys has a very thick skull, after all]

[And surely Rhys is fine too. This'd be one humiliating way to get out of the game]

[ Jack heads over as soon as Rhys rhyses it, but he's looking to Elizabeth questioningly. He doesn't actually say it, but his expression pretty much makes it clear. What the fuck did you say???
Also if no one else helps out Rhys, he guesses he will. Reluctantly. ]
