DAY 10 (afternoon) Complex Population: 15 At noon, the same tone from the morning rings out, and Judy's voice filters out over the intercom. "Good afternoon, residents. As per Safety Protocol 6227-A, it is time to conduct a trial to bring justice for the victim. Please proceed to the courtroom on the first level." Just as at night, if you don't go to the courtroom, you'll be treated to an electric shock of increasing strength until you go to the courtroom or are unconscious. Though considering the ominous penalty for not participating in a trial, you should likely just go rather than risk not voting because you've been knocked out by your own stubbornness... Once you're in the courtroom, you'll find that bottled water and light snacks are provided, but otherwise you'll have to bring anything else you may need. As you come to your conclusions about who to vote for, you can step into the judgement theater to cast your vote at the terminal. You may change your vote as many times as you'd like, but at 7PM, your vote (or lack thereof) is locked in. [ If you have a question you need to ask Judy during the trial, simply approach the bench. Apparently, that's all it takes, since she'll answer any questions you have through the intercom for everyone to hear. ]

[Alice has been in a more or less questionable state of mind since she was found with Guy's corpse earlier that morning, but at least now she's managed to simmer down to quiet anger instead of an explosive fury.]

We need to... [Actually no, standing is hard, she's just going to sit. Their numbers have whittled down enough that she probably won't get drowned out.] ...we need to figure out how we're going to approach this trial.

I really, really want to find whoever did this to us- [Herself, Elizabeth, and Bigby, she means] -and make them suffer, but if we keep dying at the rate we have been, we'll be wiped out in just a couple more days.

So do we focus on trying to find these specific killers? Or do we try and figure out who the Overseer is so we can end this?

Alright, everyone. Let us summarize the current situation, if you please.

[Says, Alfendi, smiling ever so pleasantly - looks like his nice side is in full control today.]

There are five staff members in total. Currently, we have discovered that Rhys, Luke, and Bigby are part of their number. Two more remain. One of them is the Overseer, as Judy stated, which is a "secondary role".

We know that there were six "other roles" present. Those six roles were divided into the security officers, the think tank, and the medical officers. We know one security officer was Dickson. Elizabeth was part of the think tank. And, last but not least, Guy and Fransizka were our medical officers. So, currently, we have one member of the think tank left, and a security officer left.

Two and two. Very convenient, really.

[He lets that all sink in, before continuing, his tone level.]

Elizabeth's role was to discover whether certain individuals were innocent or not. As dictated to me in her will, she has stated that Alice, Alvin, and Angel were confirmed to be innocent. We can take those people off the suspect table, as Elizabeth was working with Judy, who gave her accurate information.

[He pauses. Elizabeth...he can't believe she's dead.]

Now, then. We have a possible female suspect for Elizabeth and Bigby's murders. It sounds as if some sort of machine was used for Bigby's murder, at least, one with tread tracks. For Guy's murder...well, we're still piecing that together. If anyone has anything they'd like to ask or suggest, please do so at this time.

[ towards the end of the trial, as they're deliberating, the door bursts open and in comes a rhys! hello friends! he doesn't look good -- still wearing the clothes of last trial, still sporting quite a few bruises, and there's a whole bunch of dried blood over his nose, mouth, and front of his shirt. he looks a little frantic. ]

It was Judy! Judy killed the both of them! Bigby had to kill Elizabeth that night, and he broke the rules by trying to save her, so she came and killed the both of them!

[ there's a shock then to his ankle and he yelps, stumbling backwards with a flailing of his arms. ]

Vote for her! Then you can stop her and Ciel can let you out. He's been trying -- he's been trying this whole time for find a way around the rule. We found it! We found it. [ another bzzt ] I left -- I left something in the terminals for you!

[ and then another very sharp zap and rhys -- well, rhys faints from the pain of it all. ]

[WELL THEN.]

...Are we going to trust him? [HE LOOKS DUBIOUS... Rhys is Rhys after all.]

[In front of the only terminal in the room, that is. Accompanied by Alice, Angel will try to hack in and verify if the information Rhys spoke of is there. Time to get down to business...?]
