DAY SEVEN
![]() Complex Population: ??? It's 8AM, and you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always. There's breakfast available in the cafeteria if you want it, as well as meals from 11AM-12PM and 7PM-8PM, but otherwise? The day is yours. Take your time to explore the complex, relax, and enjoy each others' company, as who knows what the next day has in store? Though as you explore, you may notice that there's a new door unlocked and a new place for you to spend the day. For the more bookish residents, you'll now find a quaint little library open to be perused. Interestingly, none of the books have publishing dates, but for those of you that may know when the more famous books were published, you won't find anything past 1940. Also, anyone taking a stroll by the fountain this morning may notice that once again it's been subject to... something. The water is a darker red today. This post is for the first day as defined in the schedule. This post is for general mingling and CR buidling, and will not include significant plot interaction. ic rulebook character statuses character profiles private conversations graveyard |

[Are you waiting for it? Here he goes.]
Is it possible to have live animals brought here? If we're gonna stab each other, we ought to at least be allowed to slaughter ourselves some lunch too.

INVESTIGATE
head count murder count
Fortunately(?), Angel doesn't need to take another dip in the corpse fruit punch to know what it is. Once was more than enough, thank you very much. But knowing it's blood doesn't explain why it's getting darker, and with a troubling hypothesis in her mind... She turns to whoever is closest to her.]
... We need to do a head count. Could you please assist me in gathering the survivors?
[Because that's what they are at this point in time. Survivors.]

[Burrowing in bed and ignoring the world right after you wake up is hard to do if you lack the blankets to burrow in. Hitsugi manages long enough before dragging herself out of Apt 8 in PJs, bunny slippers, and a cranky disposition. She's currently snacking on dry cereal, no milk, and absently tossing paper planes across the table.]
[Afternoon - Library]
[Does the decrepit library even has stools? No? In any case, shorty is balancing on a chair and a small stack of books in an effort to reach a copy of Peter Pan on the highest shelf.]
[Evening - Lounge]
What's the last thing you remember before you arrived here?
lounge!
[Alice looks over at Hitsugi from where she's sitting at the bar with brightly-colored drink. There's something about her smile that isn't exactly friendly.]
It might be too scary for a little girl like you.

[Well, would you look at that! It's a library, and a chance to find something. That's why Dojima is going along the aisles, paying attention to every single book. He seems rather focused on what he's doing.
It's possible that he may not even see you until he bumps into you. Sorry for that]
Evening - Bar
[That last trial was a complete nightmare. Not only the person Dojima thought was going to die...died, it was also shown Adam had killed her out of revenge. All Dojima can think is that he should have seen it coming, but Adam had seemed a bit calmer the day before Franziska's death, so...
But yeah, he's drowning his sorrows right now and getting drunk. Someone has been grumpy all day, it's him]
It wasn't enough to have a group of people conshpiring to kill others. Now everyone else may want to kill each other, too. Trig-Trigger-happy bashtards...
[Fuck this place]

bar;
Isn't it a little early to throw in the towel and get sloshed? [spoken as if he didn't more or less do the same thing the night before. but it seems like a bad idea to open up any more vulnerabilities when more people are dead or missing at thing point.]

[It's after Angel's wrangled them to help out with a headcount, and despite two people being missing, Alice really doesn't seem all that concerned. Then again, she hadn't been all that concerned when Minatsuki had vanished, either.
Really, what concerns her are the things that affect her directly. Today that's her illness, which hasn't lightened up at all, so here she is glaring at the commissary's screen for a few long moments before she turns to wave over whoever happens to be passing by.]
I hate to ask, but do you know anything about medicine? Judy said the medicine here works the way it's supposed to, but none of these names are things that we use to treat illness where I come from.

Gymnasium - Afternoon;
[After stopping in at the cafeteria to get some lunch, she heads up to the gymnasium.
She's exhausted, but she's jittery and restless, and being stuck in this place hasn't done her any favors as far as keeping up with her training goes. Luckily, though, she definitely claimed Franziska's whip from her room after the execution the night before, and it's been on her hip all day.
The gymnasium is large enough that, as she starts practicing with it, there's probably going to be enough space for people to avoid getting hit, but anyone who wanders a little too close will be treated to a semi-cranky:]
Watch it!
[Her face is pale and sweaty - sweatier than one might expect, because what she's doing isn't all that strenuous. She's a little unsteady on her feet, too, but that's why she's practicing near a wall - so she can stumble over and catch herself on it if she needs to. She's fine, this is fine.]
Library - Evening;
[Alice is finishing her day by spending some time in the library. This isn't the first time she's visited the room, but it is the first time she's pulled a book from one of the shelves and sat down to peruse it.
She's pulled from the meager nonfiction collection. Anyone who happens upon her will catch her reading The Devil's Dictionary, giggling at some of the definitions.]
Well, they're not wrong...
[...wrong about what??]
Anywhere - Anytime;
[The wildcard option! Alice is too stubborn to just stay in her room and rest, so you could conceivably encounter her anywhere if none of the above prompts strikes your fancy but you want her to bother you anyway.]
Commissary
Not that it's any of her business, but...]
You will need acetaminophen to reduce your fever if you have any. It should alleviate some of your cold like symptoms.
That's for a start, anyway.

So he's in the cafeteria, waiting until enough people show up (an arbitrary amount that doesn't even have a number), and once he's satisfied, he starts talking in his usual loud and obnoxious way. ]
All right, listen up. I'm done with this. I'm getting out. You can come along if you want. [ he crosses his arms. ] Do any of you know how to build a bomb?

No experience. And I think it's a dumb idea. For all we know, we're in the middle of Plagueville and this is the only sterile place for the next several miles. Or we're surrounded by miles of concrete.
[A scoff.] What's your plan, after you build the bomb? Where will you use it?

Otherwise you ought to sit down. You're gonna carve a groove in the floor at this rate, beast.
