DAY SEVEN
![]() Complex Population: ??? It's 8AM, and you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always. There's breakfast available in the cafeteria if you want it, as well as meals from 11AM-12PM and 7PM-8PM, but otherwise? The day is yours. Take your time to explore the complex, relax, and enjoy each others' company, as who knows what the next day has in store? Though as you explore, you may notice that there's a new door unlocked and a new place for you to spend the day. For the more bookish residents, you'll now find a quaint little library open to be perused. Interestingly, none of the books have publishing dates, but for those of you that may know when the more famous books were published, you won't find anything past 1940. Also, anyone taking a stroll by the fountain this morning may notice that once again it's been subject to... something. The water is a darker red today. This post is for the first day as defined in the schedule. This post is for general mingling and CR buidling, and will not include significant plot interaction. ic rulebook character statuses character profiles private conversations graveyard |

head count murder count
Fortunately(?), Angel doesn't need to take another dip in the corpse fruit punch to know what it is. Once was more than enough, thank you very much. But knowing it's blood doesn't explain why it's getting darker, and with a troubling hypothesis in her mind... She turns to whoever is closest to her.]
... We need to do a head count. Could you please assist me in gathering the survivors?
[Because that's what they are at this point in time. Survivors.]

Hm? I suppose I can pass word along. [ she shoves the packets of cigarettes she'd made the machine get her into her pockets. ]
no subject
Nodding, Angel offers her a thin lipped smile.]
I would appreciate that. I'm afraid we might have another person missing from our ranks.
no subject
Again...? I believe my room is accounted for, but I'll double-check.
no subject
[So, yeah. Cats are, indeed, smarter. They don't go near creepy fountains, for starters.]
Please be careful. We still don't know where the last person went.
no subject
[ probably. ]

[DON'T BREAK HER HEART, SHIJIMA.]

I'll be right back.
[Geez, things are getting worse and worse every day]
no subject
Please, stay safe.

Do you think this is Takami's blood? She was missing, this could be...
[Won't someone think of the children in this complex?]
no subject
Wait until they find out Ciel is missing, though.]
Yes. As well as that of another person, I believe... The water a deeper shade of red now — more blood must have been added to it.
no subject
[But there's something curious to note, now that he thinks about it]
There's something about this water...It can't be from the same source than the water everywhere else, or everyone would be sick all the time. There must be a separate pool of water.
[...]
Do we know for sure what happens to the victims' bodies?
no subject
[And a bit wryly, glancing at the murder kool-aid.]
Perhaps the next room we'll uncover will come equipped with a corpse juicer.
no subject
[Who knows, maybe one of the executions will be via pushing the culprit into a giant juicer? Expect anything in murdergames]
It's possible Takami saw something she shouldn't have, or managed to enter a place she shouldn't be in. That'd explain why she'd be killed without there being a trial for her.

[Or not. Alice whirls around and takes a couple of steps to head back to the apartments, but she sways on her feet and then blinks rapidly. Nope, nope.]
...not sure I should go alone. Do you mind if I search for people with you?
no subject
I don't mind. Two sets of eyes are more effective than one, after all. Would you like to lead the way?
no subject
[There's an elevator they can take at... least... she'll just shuffle on over that way. Stupid murder juice.]
It seems like they've been unlocking doors after people die, so maybe... ugh. Maybe we'll find people looking for new unlocked doors.
no subject
[Wrinkling her nose in distaste as they make their way to the elevator.]
Someone suggested that the missing girl could have been placed within one of the locked rooms, didn't they?
no subject
[Unless there's, like, a giant freezer up there or something.]
no subject
[Touching the water was a mistake. More news at 11.]

[ he's not Ciel's biggest fan, but this just seems unnaturally cruel now. ]

[Though with what happened to Minatsuki, she's... not holding her breath.]
no subject
Do you really think that's gonna happen?
