DAY 4 (morning) Complex Population: 32 It's 8AM, and rather than waking naturally, you awake to the sound of an odd tone ringing through the intercom. As you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always, Judy's voice speaks up a few moments after. "A death has occurred. Safety Protocol 6227-A is now active." That ominous message might prompt you to leave your room more quickly. After all, the viewing stage is open. It seems that someone was busy during the night. — This post is for the second day as defined in the schedule. Well I know I haven't been blacking out like you have, and I perfectly remember our talk. It was actually pretty pleasant, unlike right now.

[She scowls, a mixture of concerned and miffed beginning to bug her. Her eyes turn to her gauntlet, assessing the damage it took.]

I think whatever is happening to you is serious, but I need to fix my gauntlet right now. I'm sorry about causing your injuries, but your attitude is total crap and I'm not going to keep talking to you while you're acting this way.

[He suddenly looks very pale - he blinks, blearily, his hand going to his chest.]

[Annnnnnd he just kind of...collapses. He's still conscious, though, but he just jerks his head up, like he's woken up from a bad dream.]

...Oh, goodness, me.

Oh crap.

[She steps back when he collapses and is about to kneel down to check on him, but then his head jerks back up.]

Hey, are you alright?

[He reaches up to tap at his face, drawing his hand away and gazing with some confusion at the blood there.]

Oh, hello, Veronica. [His expression is pleasant, but befuddled.] ...Am I bleeding?

[onepunchgirl]

Wha-- yes! [Okay now she's just outright confused.] Do you... even remember what we were just talking about?

[selfdenying]

We were talking?

[Alfendi pushes his upper body up, wincing as he almost puts his hands down on some shards of glass, like he didn't even expect them to be there.]

[He looks embarrassed.]

...I fainted again, didn't I?

...Alfendi...do you remember what we were just talking about?

[He gives her an incredulous look.]

Not at all? I mean, how could I talk if I was unconscious? That makes no sense.

[Something is definitely going on with him. She'll need to ponder on it later, but it doesn't sound like any good would come from talking to him right now.]

Another body has been found. I need investigate it before the trial starts. [A beat.] Just a quick question - you remember our conversation in the gym, right? The one we had a couple days ago.

[This is all quite strange. He rubs at his forehead, looking around at the commotion.]

Goodness... [He breaths, a little shocked, before turning back to Veronica.] And yes, of course. You said you were thinking of making a class for self defense, if I remember correctly, and I liked the idea.
