As you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always, Judy's voice speaks up a few moments after. "A death has occurred. Safety Protocol 6227-A is now active." That ominous message might prompt you to leave your room more quickly. After all, the viewing stage is open. [Alfendi pushes his upper body up, wincing as he almost puts his hands down on some shards of glass, like he didn't even expect them to be there.]

[He gives her an incredulous look.]

Not at all? I mean, how could I talk if I was unconscious? That makes no sense.
