DAY TEN
 Complex Population: ??? It's 8AM, and you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always. There's breakfast avaliable in the cafeteria if you want it, as well as meals from 11AM-12PM and 7PM-8PM, but otherwise? The viewing stage is open. It seems that someone was busy during the night. This post is for the second day as defined in the schedule. Things got bloody for both sides last night.
Elizabeth and Cecil were from that group that's working against staff. Cecil was the other healing person - von Karma's partner - while Elizabeth was part of some sort of think tank team.
Wolf got killed too. He was a staff member.

[Alice's eyes go wide and she shakes her head in disbelief.]
Elizabeth and... Elizabeth and Bigby are dead?
[Guy being dead doesn't come as a surprise, really - she woke up down there where his corpse was, after all - but her expression goes slack as she takes in what Dojima is saying.]

[Leo gets her attention a moment later, and she takes a breath.]

[Dojima already has one definite suspect, though, at least on Bigby's death, but that's because he isn't aware Elizabeth mentioned a female attacker.

The victims were found in the stairwell. I wasn't able to see the scene myself, so all I know right now is secondhand and only the general details.
Elizabeth was found in the landing between the second and the third floor. There was no weapons or traps nearby. The cause of death is unknown.
Wolf wasn't too far away from her body. There was blood at the top of the stairs, right near the access to the third floor, and after he died it is thought he fell down to the landing where Elizabeth was. The cause of death was some sort of stab to the chest.
They were found by Angel and Kurookano. They know the finer details, so wait until the trial for that.
[That's all the information the player here supposes Angel and Shijima would tell right out of the bat to anyone who asked]

By the time the trial starts, she'll manage to calm down and keep her head on straight, but for now she's incensed. Dojima is trying to help as best he can and doesn't deserve to be lashed out at, but...]

[Considering the way the last trial went down, it should've been obvious that she'd be targeted. Leo was a shitty bodyguard even when it was his dearest friend he was guarding (and he had both feet), but he can't help feeling like there was more they could've done to protect her. He's disappointed, but not exactly surprised.
Bigby, though... Leo shakes his head.]
I don't know about Bigby, but... maybe someone found out he was staff. [One of them is the Overseer, after all. They can't forget that.]

Elizabeth was an obvious threat to the staff members and the Overseer - but for both her and Bigby to go down in the same night? There's obviously something else at work here. Seething, she turns her head in the direction of the viewing stage and the operating theater.]

[Protect Liz, that is. Alice doesn't really make requests, but if she'd "asked" anyone to watch over Elizabeth, Bigby likely would've seemed a good choice.]

[The question actually snaps Alice out of it for a few moments. She realizes then that he thought she meant Bigby, and she shakes her head.]

[Fuzzier than she really likes, clearly - but there doesn't seem to be much about this whole situation that she likes. Two of her roommates are dead and one of them was a staff member. The last member of the medical team is dead. There is literally nothing good about this.]

Yes. I heard it clearly. [He couldn't exactly get down in there to chat with Alice, so he didn't have much choice but to listen.] Like Dojima said, it mentioned Elizabeth as part of a "think tank". Whatever that's supposed to mean.

How well you can protect yourself doesn't seem to matter here. Adam said Franziska only fought back "a little". I doubt that was a personal choice. [He sighs, lifting a hand to rub his eyes, behind his glasses.] He probably thought Elizabeth already had people protecting her. She should've.
