DAY TEN
![]() Complex Population: ??? It's 8AM, and you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always. There's breakfast avaliable in the cafeteria if you want it, as well as meals from 11AM-12PM and 7PM-8PM, but otherwise? The viewing stage is open. It seems that someone was busy during the night. This post is for the second day as defined in the schedule. This post is for investigation and general mingling before the trial that takes place in the afternoon IC. ic rulebook character statuses character profiles private conversations graveyard |

definitely saw liz isn't moving any longer. shijima stands, hesitates for a second, and then goes towards the third floor landing where there was apparently more blood, still cautious.
are there more bodies. don't be more bodies? ]

That said, Angel tenses up as Elizabeth stops moving. She's been getting increasingly more acquainted with death over the past week, but this is by far the worst experience she's had. Swallowing the lump in her throat, she carefully moves Elizabeth's corpse. Positions her so she looks more peaceful and less like someone who died in a whole lot of pain. It's all she can do.]
... I'm so sorry, friend.
[Elizabeth can't hear them anymore. She knows this, but she still feels the need to apologize for being so useless. Ugh. She gives Elizabeth's corpse one last look over just in case there's anything on her to loot, or a less visible injury she missed, but... Once that's done, she stands up and turns towards the stairs.]
Shijima, have you found anything else?
no subject
Angel won't find anything of note on the body. Elizabeth's only apparent injuries are a small injury to her head and the large apparent nosebleed.
Shijima will find several things on the landing! Fortunately, none of them is extra bodies. She'll find that the third floor's door is still locked. The blood trail near the door, if inspected, looks like the result of someone being dragged. There also appears to be small, evenly-spaced markings of some sort in the trail.]

More of the crime scene, I think...

That said, she furrows her brows and moves towards the third floor's landing, taking in the scene.]
... I suppose an incriminating message written in blood would be too much to ask for.
[And just to make sure: the blood trail goes through the door? Or is it just near it?]

Inspection of the markings will show that they appear to be some sort of treadmarks, similar in pattern to tank treads.]

Something not human was here.
[ unless a human can make tiny tank treadmarks. ]

Whatever made this, it couldn't have moved by itself. There are no robots in this Complex as far as we're aware.
[But there are no obvious footprints in the area, right? Also... does the trail look fresh or is it similar to the blood on Bigby and Elizabeth?]

[ honestly, she doesn't even know (or. care.) ]
But what purpose would a human have for this kind of odd mark? They're too small to really indicate pushing some sort of machine...probably.

[No footprints. No hints as to what this is. Great. How big, exactly, are the marks though?]
Elizabeth mentioned a female did... well, this. [The double murder.] If we eliminate the two of us, that would leave Ava, Rose, Alice and, I suppose, Judy.
[Though she doubts it was Alice.]

[ SO, AVA OR JUDY. :)
shijima you can't just discount people because you like them but guess what she sure did. THOUGH SHE ALSO DOESN'T DISPUTE ANGEL'S INNOCENCE because she also likes angel. ]
