DAY 6 (morning) Complex Population: 27 It's 8AM, and you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always. There's breakfast avaliable in the cafeteria if you want it, as well as meals from 11AM-12PM and 7PM-8PM, but otherwise? The viewing stage is open. It seems that someone was busy during the night. — This post is for the second day as defined in the schedule. [ The Viewing Stage is open, but there's not that much to investigate. The overhead door hides a small stage that you can look down on. Half a landing down, there's an odd, laboratory-like room. You can see doors on the left and right sides of the room, and the right side seems to have a two-way mirror.

However, you might notice the body first.

OOC Note: Thanks to the turbofist of a certain someone on day 4, the glass wall separating characters from the body has been shattered! Characters may now investigate the corpse and crime scene by dropping 5-6 feet down into the operating theater, but be careful, as getting back up may be difficult and the floor is still covered in glass. However, keep in mind that evidence in mafia-based games is usually inconclusive, so don't expect to find the key to solving the case even with access to the body! Please also remember that the room will undergo decontamination procedures from noon to 4pm, where the facility will go into lockdown mode without IC warning. Any character still in the atrium during that time will be killed.

The Complex Apartments

[ Unfortunately, residents may run into a little trouble before they can even get to the operating theater this time... Particularly the residents of Apartment 7. They'll be waking up this fine morning to quite a mess of blood, and one extra resident in the room. What a shame that he's no longer living!

It looks like Kei has been killed.

The body of Bigby Wolf is also nearby. He's covered in blood as well, but he seems to be stirring...]

APARTMENT 7, BECAUSE DUH...

[ lmao what. go away kei. shijima will hop off the bed and kick him in the side with her foot to see if he's dead? he looks dead. then she'll go and repeat this semi more gently with bigby. YOU DEAD, BRO? ]

[ ugh she will crouch down next to him and actually check him less. aggressively. ]

[Oh, hell. Alice delivers a swift kick to Kei's side because obviously he tried something sneaky if he's here in the room now - but she leaves off from desecrating the corpse because it's not like a dead body can feel pain.

Instead, she heads for the bed and grabs at the sheets.]

He's covered in blood... is it his or the other guy's?

What the hell is this?!

[Alfendi went to bed angry, and guess what? HE'S STILL ANGRY. This will clearly work out for everyone. He grumbles, also going over to Kei and just raising him up by the shoulders, shaking him a little, before being satisfied that he's dead.]

Ugh, what a stupid mess...and that guy over there? What's his name? Burgerby? He's alive, right?

[He'll turn his gaze back to Kei. What kind of wounds are on Kei?]

[ Shijima and Alice will find that Bigby appears to be covered in the most blood. It seems concentrated around his mouth, side, and shoulder, and if she looks at the last two areas, she might have enough time to tell that there are injuries there.

Kei, on the other hand, appears to have one primary injury: his throat has been torn out. ]

[ yeah she's looking at the injuries. shijima is also more interested in like, how bad they are. since alice is getting the sheets... ]

He's not dead. Bring those over and we can do a quick patch job...I know I offered to do this for you guys, but you could have waited to take me up on it at least a little.

[ she can cut the sheets into bandages herself if alice tosses them to her, and will casually just begin to clean/bandage whatever she can get at if bigby doesn't wake up and run away RIGHT OFF...but if he does she's not really big enough to stop him, so. ]

Who's that other person? We should kick him out to the hall, I don't want a corpse in here. He's ruined our floor.

[She's not in a great mood, so Alfendi's question gets a snappish answer - ]

His name is Bigby.

[But she stays in motion even as she snaps at him, stripping the sheets from the bed and tossing them to Shijima so she can get right to work. She even heads over after she's tossed them and starts helping to tear the bandages, all the better for Shijima to start treating the wounds right away.]

I ran into him not too long after we first got here, but I can't remember what his name was. [She wrinkles her nose.] Before we kick him out, let's see if he's got anything useful. Alfie, you're looking at him already, right? Search him.

[mansplains]

..... I can't look at the body, but I can give someone a lift inside and outside. The glass isn't a problem for me.

[A beat]

...Provided they're not a woman. [wow, sexist, Guy!!] Sorry.

[He's too distracted by the torn throat to really care at the moment - the dead man is much more fascinating than some half-dead guy, and he lays him down so he can just think for a moment. How did he end up here? What kind of weapon would tear a throat out? Teeth?]

It's Alfendi, idiot. [He says, with a sneer. He's very, very tired, but he'll stay awake for MURDER.] And sure, I was just about to do that, anyways.

[He proceeds to rifle through Kei's pockets with little regard that the man is dead. This is the worst murder-investigating team ever.]

[ Burgerby is very much still alive. sort of. he's woken up by the commotion in a pool of both his and Kei's blood. if he is in pain (which he is), he isn't showing it. all he can smell is the scent of metal from what coated his stubble and mouth.

he stares at Shijima, Alice and Alfendi for all of five seconds before forcing himself up on his elbows, wincing from the fresh wound on his shoulder and the newfound strain to it. not long after and he's standing with no attempt at asking for assistance, leaning against the nearest wall to catch his bearings. ]

Leave me the fuck alone.

[ any attempts at bandaging him will be slapped away (SORRY) and he just kind of. stumbles his way out of the room, leaving a trail of red behind him as he goes god knows where. feel free to follow him if you want?? otherwise, keep checking on poor Kei. ]

[ Good thing Elizabeth has fashioned the bedsheets into a tightly rolled fashion. She offers one end to Guy. ]

Alfendi will also find that Kei 1) probably doesn't have pockets because he's a kimono-wearing kinda dude and 2) he has nothing on his person anyway. ]

(She sneers at Alfendi before she takes off, though - someone's still bitter about yesterday's fight.)]
