DAY SIX (morning)
![]() Complex Population: 27 It's 8AM, and you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always. There's breakfast avaliable in the cafeteria if you want it, as well as meals from 11AM-12PM and 7PM-8PM, but otherwise? The viewing stage is open. It seems that someone was busy during the night. This post is for the second day as defined in the schedule. This post is for investigation and general mingling before the trial that takes place in the afternoon IC. ic rulebook character statuses character profiles private conversations graveyard |

[it's the skeeze or the gynophobic loser..... your Tales protags, ladies and gentlemen]
Just don't hit on them while you're doing it.
[are you in a fucking position to talk, Guy]
no subject
Hey now, I'm a man with some integrity, you know. We're just trying to help each other out here, right?
let's combine threads
[ She thinks maybe they can all find something about this? After Guy tries to help with the situation by clearing the glass, she's just so ??? confused??? Why won't he touch a woman or be near them -
she looks to Alvin with a nod as she takes her heels off because jumping/ climbing is a bitch in them? ]
Think you're up for helping me again, mister?
[ Charm level: 900. Please watch her as she carefully hops down and nearly stumbles right into Guy. ]
time for a threesome
[anyway Liz's doxxing aside, he's done his best to clear up the glass and has a steady hold on the sheet, even though Liz is riding the Alvin express and doesn't even need it anymore, smh]
[but sure enough Liz does stumble near Guy. Despite his obvious terror, he wills himself to stay still and catch her]
[despite the Johnny Yong Bosch noises coming out of his mouth]
AAAAAUUUUUGH!
[he tried and therefore no one can criticize him]
no subject
[listen, okay. the alvin express is a solid ride in all ways—so he's got this under control.
well, except for the part where she practically goes careening into guy, but that's not not entirely his fault here.]
...You should probably save your screams for having a look at the dead body, don't you think? [morbid humor is the way to go here, naturally.]
no subject
[ Oh, look, she doesn't stumble too much to need Guy's help. She is a foot or so away and looks at him with a skeptical expression. ]
...Sir, there's a dead body. Can you show some re-
[ She cuts herself off when she finally realizes who the hell it was. She feels her blood run cold. Elizabeth said she'd kill the woman herself and now she's dead. ]
She put herself as a target. [ She says confidently, walking over and carefully kneeling to the body to look for the first sign of blood? Where it be? ] Revenge kill, I'd say...

[Anyway, with Elizabeth moving away, he lets himself breathe a little (the loser), and then edges as close as he can to the ladies without freaking out]
[he's trying so hard, you guys]
...Yeah, she really did. I bet they were angry about Luke. Or Lara.
no subject
She knew it too, didn't she? She sentenced an innocent person and a staffer. That's a painted target on all sides.
[he's looking her over from where he stands—]
Looks like they went right for her head for an easy blow.
no subject
But, Alvin does paint an interesting theory. ]
I mean - I said I would kill her if she - ... but no, some sane person wouldn't have killed her, right...?
[ She'll casually look down to see if there's a foot...? Is the circle unbroken?!
However, tenderly, she tilts the woman's head to look at the wound - where was it? ]
Alvin, Guy - what does this look like to you?
no subject
Or more seriously, yes, Franziska's foot is totally intact. As for her head, it appears as though she's suffered from blunt force trauma to the head. She's been struck in numerous places, with some blows looking heavier than others. ]
no subject
Well, they might have thought it was easy. But there are a lot of marks. She may have struggled.
....This looks pretty passionate to me, though.
no subject
Either someone had a real happy time with making sure they took out their anger on her head.... or they really needed more than one hit to take her down. Kinda tough to say what she might've actually be hit with that'd do that kind of damage, though.
[it probably could have been anything, he's figuring. it doesn't look like it's the work of an easy weapon, after all.]
no subject
Passionate is a word. [ Except they all frysquint.jpg over the realization that this looked botched. It wasn't nearly as precise or clean as the previous ones. ] She was a tough woman - scary, too.
[ Although, it could have been all bark? Alvin's assumption of the weapon makes her narrow her eyes. ]
Do you want to look around for a weapon of some kind...? Maybe a trail of blood?
[ She'll sigh and motion for Guy to come closer. Dead girl bodies are ok, aren't they?
Liz focuses on the side that was struck - front, back, side? Which was it? ]
no subject
While Guy's examining the body from his weenie distance, he might notice that there appear to be two other areas of injury: her knees and shoulders. ]
no subject
[Also A+ weenieng from Guy, he noticed something!]
---Hang on. Her knees and shoulders were also hit. What exactly were they trying to do?
[But oh no, Liz is gesturing him him to come closer.... and so he comes like, a foot closer.]
[And that alone has him looking particularly nervous] We're looking for something blunt -- but I don't know if there's a blood trail.
[Let Guy check from slightly less of a weenie distance]
no subject
[and so, alvin will start looking for any signs of there being something in the room. are there any signs? is it a mystery?
either way, he's still keeping his distance from the heart of the scene—guy and elizabeth can examine the body further while he pokes and prods around the room. though at the very least, he does pipe up.]
Knees and shoulders too, huh. The hell if I know—bad aim? [probably not.] Does it look like the hits to the head?
[at least he's asking questions while being... alvin about things.]
oh my god, i didnt see this, my bad.
[ Elizabeth stands up, carefully and sighs heavily. ]
Could have tried to get her down to finish the job - that woman seemed to put up a fight any chance she got.
[ Elizabeth says almost remorsefully. She'll be kind enough to treat her with respect. Alvin's off being vague hand gestures and it seems like they don't have any solid lead... so she'll just let the woman rest. ]
Unfortunately, most of the wounds I'm use to looking at are bullet wounds. ...On a living person.
no subject
As for her knees and shoulders: they're bruised. It's possible that they were hit with the same object that was used on her head. ]
no subject
[listen, he's making an attempt.... you all need to appreciate his bravery here.]
[he can't exactly do anything but let Franziska rest, because dead women are even grosser than live women]
But there's no blood trail, or anything. It looks more like someone wildly hitting her, over and over again... like they were trying to bludgeon her to death. I can't think of another reason.
no subject
[alvin's not so sure that she was staff for that reason—and because she absolutely had a target on her back, as far as he's concerned.
either way?
well, he'll finally turn his attention back to guy and elizabeth properly instead of being vaguely alvin about things.]
Anyway, I'm not seeing anything here that would've been used to do the job. Up the creek without a paddle just like with the last two.
[all they've got to go on are her markings, it looks like. he'll peer at her body, getting a little closer to it finally just to look at the bruises, though he doesn't seem particularly bothered like guy is by being near a corpse.]
It seems like a hell of a lot of work for such a messy job, though.
no subject
There's nothing left to find in the rest of the room! ]
