DAY FOUR (morning)

DAY 4 (morning)
Complex Population: 32

It's 8AM, and rather than waking naturally, you awake to the sound of an odd tone ringing through the intercom. As you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always, Judy's voice speaks up a few moments after.

"A death has occurred. Safety Protocol 6227-A is now active."

That ominous message might prompt you to leave your room more quickly. After all, the viewing stage is open.

It seems that someone was busy during the night.

This post is for the second day as defined in the schedule. This post is for investigation and general mingling before the trial that takes place in the afternoon IC.

[The operating theater is accessible now, so she's not too upset over her injury. It could be worse. End justifies the means. It's just a flesh wound. Etcétera. Infamy or not, she does think Veronica punching the shit out of the window was pretty cool, so she offers her a polite smile.]

We would have to be mindful of the remaining glass, but it's not a bad idea. [However, she's not exactly the adventuring type.] ... Although, I must warn you — I'm not sure if I'll be much help getting back up. I wouldn't claim to have... physical prowess, by any means.

[She's a noodle. A stick woman. A girl shaped blob of Jell-o.]

That's fine. As you can see, I have a lot of upper body strength to make up for that. [She smiles sheepishly.] I can boost you back up, and you just need to give me enough pull so I can reach the ledge. From there I can do the rest.

If you're certain, I can do that much.

[If Veronica's fine with having a less than stellar assistant, then so is she. That said, she glances towards the broken window once again, peering down into the operating theater.]

Well... Shall we? We don't have much time to waste before the trial begins.
