DAY THREE
![]() Complex Population: 33 It's 8AM, and you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always. There's breakfast avaliable in the cafeteria if you want it, as well as meals from 11AM-12PM and 7PM-8PM, but otherwise? The day is yours. Take your time to explore the complex, relax, and enjoy each others' company, as who knows what the next day has in store? Though as you explore, you may notice that there's a new door unlocked and a new place for you to spend the day. There's a workshop and tinkering lab that you can now access. It includes everything from power tools to more terminals (so no need to crowd around the commissary terminal to chat with Judy anymore). As tempting as all these tools may be, they cannot be removed from the lab. Only completed projects may be taken out of the lab. That said, it seems like someone may have already been here, as there's blood smeared on one of the terminal's keyboards. Also, anyone taking a stroll by the fountain this morning may notice something floating in the water: a boy's severed foot. This post is for the first day as defined in the schedule. This post is for general mingling and CR buidling, and will not include significant plot interaction. ic rulebook character statuses character profiles private conversations graveyard |

Robots exist, but they're not very advanced yet.
[HAH]
You're not the only one feeling behind the times. Apparently there's a guy from the ancient Japan times among us.
[Dojima hasn't defined if it's an act or if Sakyou is being serious]

[ It's either at that thought or Dojima's mention of someone from ancient times that he looks amused. ] Is there? How ancient? I've met a guy who's from an entirely different galaxy where space travel is normal.
no subject
[What, Adam?]
Entirely different galaxy? What?

Jack says he's never even heard of Earth or the Milky Way, Leo is... some sort of servant and has never heard of the United States. But then there are people like us.
no subject
Time travel is impossible, there shouldn't be any doubt about it. It can't be possible he actually is... [He was rather sure it was all an act, until now, that is]
What's going on with this place and these people? Did everyone go insane and I didn't know? It can't all be true!
[...you know what, let's get more nonsense into this all, why not.]
...Parrish, what's that about magical and psychic knowledge your profile says you have?
no subject
You think? Some things are impossible but time travel is a real scientific possibility. Maybe not for us, but have you seen this place? [ He gestures around the room. ] You can build your own personal robots.
[ At the question, he goes back to working on his own personal robot. ] Oh, well, it means I know things about magic and psychic powers. [ He should have expected that answer. ] ... It comes from looking into an ancient king. Some people say he's magic. I had to turn to psychics to find more information. Nothing as crazy as some of the people here, but thinking magic is real isn't all that strange.
no subject
[Well! He gave up in trying to understand, so may as well roll with the punches]
And what did you find? Was that king magic?
no subject
I haven't found him yet. But I think I've found other forms of magic. There's a lot that's hidden because people don't want to see it.
... I didn't believe it in it until I saw it either, but there comes a point where rationality becomes ignorance.

I guess it's nice to have things be simple like that.
no subject
[Although Dojima can't think of a single thing that could be explained through magic, mundane or not]

Have you ever met any psychics before? They tend to have a connection with it, if they're real.
