DAY TWO (morning)

DAY 2 (morning)
Complex Population: 34

It's 8AM, and rather than waking naturally, you awake to the sound of an odd tone ringing through the intercom. As you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always, Judy's voice speaks up a few moments after.

"A death has occurred. Safety Protocol 6227-A is now in effect. Protocol now available on Complex terminals."

That ominous message might prompt you to leave your room more quickly. You can check out the terminal, where a new file is available, but as you head into the atrium, you might notice something else.

The viewing stage is open.

It seems that someone was busy during the night.

This post is for the second day as defined in the schedule. This post is for investigation and general mingling before the trial that takes place in the afternoon IC.

Most of the people they brought here have some special skill or another. Pitting us against each other kinda seems like a very low move. [His thumb rubs over his lower lip in thought.]

First thing's first. We should maybe ask people about the kid? I didn't know him. [You can't know everybody after a couple of days.]

Not gonna argue that. The fact someone's dead after two days—geez, what a mess.

[he shifts slightly, running a hand through his hair and keeping his gaze off luke for the moment.]

Yeah, guess we shouldn't. I didn't talk to the kid, so I don't know anything about him aside from what it said on his profile.

[His eyes light up for a moment.]

That might not be a bad place to start too. Reread his profile, see if there's anything on it that might lead to some kind of conclusion. Couldn't hurt, could it?

Probably not. Anything's gonna be better than nothing at this point.
