DAY TWO (morning)

DAY 2 (morning)
Complex Population: 34

It's 8AM, and rather than waking naturally, you awake to the sound of an odd tone ringing through the intercom. As you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always, Judy's voice speaks up a few moments after.

"A death has occurred. Safety Protocol 6227-A is now in effect. Protocol now available on Complex terminals."

That ominous message might prompt you to leave your room more quickly. You can check out the terminal, where a new file is available, but as you head into the atrium, you might notice something else.

The viewing stage is open.

It seems that someone was busy during the night.

This post is for the second day as defined in the schedule. This post is for investigation and general mingling before the trial that takes place in the afternoon IC.

It was.

[And boy, does it trouble her. She's been thinking about it out since the "investigation" started, though it could hardly be called one. They can't even get close to the corpse.]

I checked the door — the one across the cafeteria. I didn't see any signs of tampering or brute force.

[Alfendi has yet to get to Judy to ask questions about how it was opened, but at the moment, it's just one giant mystery.]

Odd. That means that someone had the means to open it...and it wasn't, like you said, forced open. Somebody familiar with this place knew what was behind that door.

Trouble is, was it Charles who knew this place existed? Or his killer, who lured him in here somehow? Or both?
