DAY 2 (morning) Complex Population: 34 It's 8AM, and rather than waking naturally, you awake to the sound of an odd tone ringing through the intercom. As you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always, Judy's voice speaks up a few moments after. "A death has occurred. Safety Protocol 6227-A is now in effect. Protocol now available on Complex terminals." That ominous message might prompt you to leave your room more quickly. You can check out the terminal, where a new file is available, but as you head into the atrium, you might notice something else. The viewing stage is open. It seems that someone was busy during the night. — This post is for the second day as defined in the schedule. [ Yes that blood sure is something. From his place at the viewing stage, he's going to try to examine how Charles's body is set up. What does it look like? Where has the nailbat been used? Yikes. ]

[ His body is laying in a heap on the floor. There's a small trail of blood that looks like Charles was dragged a short distance. Based on the blood on his clothes, it seems like he might have been struck in the leg with the bat first.

However, it was definitely used on his head, as his skull is cracked, and there are deep lacerations on his neck from where the nails went in. It's not a pretty sight.

Also, one of his feet is missing. Weird. ]

[ YIKES. Adam puts a hand over his mouth due to the gruesome sight but. Fine. He can do this.

Does it look like the foot was cleanly cut off or ripped off or nailbatted to the point of disintegration? Does he still have the ankle monitor on him? ]

[ It's a clean cut, thankfully (?). It seems that Charles's ankle monitor is missing. ]
