DAY TWO (morning)

DAY 2 (morning)
Complex Population: 34

It's 8AM, and rather than waking naturally, you awake to the sound of an odd tone ringing through the intercom. As you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always, Judy's voice speaks up a few moments after.

"A death has occurred. Safety Protocol 6227-A is now in effect. Protocol now available on Complex terminals."

That ominous message might prompt you to leave your room more quickly. You can check out the terminal, where a new file is available, but as you head into the atrium, you might notice something else.

The viewing stage is open.

It seems that someone was busy during the night.

This post is for the second day as defined in the schedule. This post is for investigation and general mingling before the trial that takes place in the afternoon IC.

I've never seen you before in my god damn life.

[So many strangers, so many people who he doesn't know, claiming they know him. It unnerves him to no end.]

[His hands clench into fists at his sides.]

Everything's the matter! God, what's wrong with all of you idiots?! You keep treating me like, I don't know, like I'm somebody else!
turinged: (hungry for the histories they show me)

We have spoken several times over the past few days. I am certain of it.

[she could never forget that nose.]

But I did not mean to agitate you.
selfdenying: (you're wrong when it's right)

[The glass wall is nearby - he, in irritation, raises the hand closest to it and slams his palm against the glass, not even caring for the pain that sparks up against his arm.]

We haven't. I would remember it. What the hell did you even talk to me about, huh? Tell me that!
turinged: (heedless of the gift)

[personal profile] turinged 2016-10-12 04:08 am (UTC)(link)
[she flinches as he slams his hand against the glass, looking at him with renewed concern]

You are going to hurt yourself.

Like I care. Whatever.

[He snorts, twisting his head to glance at the bloody mess down below - he has a feeling his questions won't be answered, which is infuriating, but e can distract himself with the fact that, well, a murder has occurred.]

[His grimace twists up into a wide smile.]

...So, has anybody solved this particularly gruesome little crime yet?
turinged: (and go about their lives)

[personal profile] turinged 2016-10-14 02:33 am (UTC)(link)
[she shakes her head, still clearly unnerved.]

We will attempt to uncover it shortly.
selfdenying: (we fight we make up)

Ah, that's sad. Oh, whoever did this really is admirable, though! I would've thought it sloppy because of the hit to the head, but oh, dear me, that amputation? How beautifully cruel!

[He laughs, his eyes almost glinting with a strange and very morbid joy.]

I can just imagine it...the cold heart needed to carry out such a devious act...you don't find a wonderful thing like that just anywhere, you know!
turinged: (every day they shout)

[personal profile] turinged 2016-10-17 04:38 am (UTC)(link)
Alfendi... How can you say that?

[she looks horrified. what happened to the kind man she had spoken to previously, she wonders?]
selfdenying: (you're in then you're out)

What, can't I say what I think? I find such things quite fascinating, you know...

[Another laugh shudders through his thin frame.]

Tell me, why wouldn't you appreciate a mind like that? Yes, of course, what they do is despicable, but the guts needed to do such a thing, ah, there's nothing like it.
