 Complex Population: 15 At noon, the same tone from the morning rings out, and Judy's voice filters out over the intercom. "Good afternoon, residents. As per Safety Protocol 6227-A, it is time to conduct a trial to bring justice for the victim. Please proceed to the courtroom on the first level." Just as at night, if you don't go to the courtroom, you'll be treated to an electric shock of increasing strength until you go to the courtroom or are unconscious. Though considering the ominous penalty for not participating in a trial, you should likely just go rather than risk not voting because you've been knocked out by your own stubbornness... Once you're in the courtroom, you'll find that bottled water and light snacks are provided, but otherwise you'll have to bring anything else you may need. As you come to your conclusions about who to vote for, you can step into the judgement theater to cast your vote at the terminal. You may change your vote as many times as you'd like, but at 7PM, your vote (or lack thereof) is locked in. Who says they won't be deleted forever at a later point, too? Judy has them at her mercy. She could hold their lives as a bargaining chip at any moment.
And once we can get out of here do you think we'll be allowed to take them with us? Hell, does it mean they'd live forever in Judy's database? That doesn't sound like a good thing, in my opinion!
[Realizing he may be letting his frustration get the best of hi, Dojima starts taking deep breaths. He does need to calm down and stop thinking about all this in 'there's the chance of getting out of here' terms]

We don't know a lot of things. Is it possible to save them, to remove them from the database? We don't know. Let's see what they know, now that Judy seems less likely to censor the truth.

Fine. If we're going to wait a while longer, that's fine. There may be a third option.
No voting for Phantomhive. No voting for Judy. No voting for anyone else except one person. [He motions with his thumb at Rhys on the floor]
Rhys. He wants to die. We have the information he gave us. Phantomhive stays alive and wherever he is. The dead people stay intact for now. The rest of us survive for a while longer and can clear our minds for a day or two.

If he is staff, then he can order Judy to remove his monitor before it shocks him to death. We can't reach him, so we won't be able to drag him into the execution room. Which means that nobody will end up dying.
I'm not ready to give Rhys what he wants yet. He's going to wake up and he's going to answer some questions I have for him, and then we can send him off to the death he wants so badly.
[Or keep him alive, if they need a staff member to open doors on the way out.]

Do you think the Overseer may have the authority to override Phantomhive's request?
[He's clearly hoping for a 'no', but if the Overseer can do that then killing Ciel may ruin the chance]

It's possible. Supposedly, the Overseer is in charge of... well, everything, right? But supposedly if we kill them, all the doors will open.
If that's the case, then it may not just be five people who can walk out of here. It doesn't matter to me how many people die along the way - [She says this a little more callously than she really should, honestly] - but for those of you who want to get as many people out alive as possible, isn't that the better option?
We find and kill one more person, and then we don't have to worry about retaliation from Judy if we go with Rhys's plan, or worry about killing the others all over again.

Leaving that aside, I note that Rhys has a lot of dried blood on his face. Given he was not exactly wanting to aid anyone before, I'd say it's possible he was the one to attack you and Cecil. He has recovered memories recently, judging by the dried blood.
