trial #4
![]() Complex Population: 19 At noon, the same tone from the morning rings out, and Judy's voice filters out over the intercom. "Good afternoon, residents. As per Safety Protocol 6227-A, it is time to conduct a trial to bring justice for the victim. Please proceed to the courtroom on the first level." Just as at night, if you don't go to the courtroom, you'll be treated to an electric shock of increasing strength until you go to the courtroom or are unconscious. Though considering the ominous penalty for not participating in a trial, you should likely just go rather than risk not voting because you've been knocked out by your own stubbornness... Once you're in the courtroom, you'll find that bottled water and light snacks are provided, but otherwise you'll have to bring anything else you may need. As you come to your conclusions about who to vote for, you can step into the judgement theater to cast your vote at the terminal. You may change your vote as many times as you'd like, but at 7PM, your vote (or lack thereof) is locked in. You have until 7PM to discuss and vote for who you think the murderer is. ic rulebook character statuses character profiles Voting will close at 9PM EST on 10/29. voting |

I'm not -- I'm not confirming anything but I just, I don't really care what happens here because this isn't my endgame.

[ *probably. terms and conditions may apply. in homestuck everyone and no one dies, so. ]
no subject
Yeah, I do die, don't I? That's exactly what I want.
no subject
Angel will likely die as well. Is that just a footnote to you, or your true goal? Though I have no idea what you or Staff would have to gain from such a thing.

Not... suicidal but we're all on borrowed time here, you know? We were dead the moment we got here and leaving -- well. No. I'm not saying anything about that.
[ angel does get him to look mildly guilty. ]
Okay, well, that wasn't really my idea but just a sort of -- a consequence, I guess.
no subject
Are you saying this is some kind of purgatory? An interesting theory, but do you have anything to back it up or is it merely idle speculation?
A consequence for what?
no subject
Judy told me.
[ FUCK YOU JUDY, THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR SPILLING ABOUT THE STUFF HE REQUESTED. ]
Well, this -- uhm, what I'm doing. Kind of a me plan and not an us plan, if you get me? It was part of the other thing and then sort of got, uh, wrapped up in this.

[ judy is just a poor apartment manager let her live. ]
Rhys, I don't think anyone gets you.
no subject
Dude, I know, but it's not the right time yet? So, I don't want to give anything away.

No. When I'm in the execution room. So, vote for me, and we can get this over with.

I guess I still get what I want but it'd really suck since I was planning a little infodump before I died.

We'd be more likely to vote for you if you took off Angel's collar, you know. Then there'd be no qualms about voting for you from anyone.
no subject
No, that's not -- ughhh, just. Give me my execution. That's all I want. The collar has to stay.

and if it weren't for judy shocking people for rhys rose would just stab him with a knitting needle BOY SHE WISHES SHE COULD just maim him a little ]
Why? Is it just to take an innocent girl down with you? Surely you can tell us that much.
no subject
No, it's -- well, I can't say but ideally, I'd like to take the collar off while in the execution room. But I can't yet or I might not get what I need while in there. It's a whole -- a whole thing, honestly.
no subject
A whole thing. Yes, that's quite descriptive. I feel so much more confident in your abilities now. What is it you need in there, anyway? A certain weapon, a particular executioner?
