trial #3
![]() Complex Population: 27 At noon, the same tone from the morning rings out, and Judy's voice filters out over the intercom. "Good afternoon, residents. As per Safety Protocol 6227-A, it is time to conduct a trial to bring justice for the victim. Please proceed to the courtroom on the first level." Just as at night, if you don't go to the courtroom, you'll be treated to an electric shock of increasing strength until you go to the courtroom or are unconscious. Though considering the ominous penalty for not participating in a trial, you should likely just go rather than risk not voting because you've been knocked out by your own stubbornness... Once you're in the courtroom, you'll find that bottled water and light snacks are provided, but otherwise you'll have to bring anything else you may need. As you come to your conclusions about who to vote for, you can step into the judgement theater to cast your vote at the terminal. You may change your vote as many times as you'd like, but at 7PM, your vote (or lack thereof) is locked in. You have until 7PM to discuss and vote for who you think the murderer is. ic rulebook character statuses character profiles Voting will close at 9PM EST on 10/22. voting |

just going to balk for a moment before dragging a hand over his face. ]
Awwww, fuuuuuuck, dude. I wanted to show you more robot stuff. Why'd you have to go confess, what the fuck.
no subject
But I wouldn't have been happy if a kid died for me. I'm sure plenty of people want to see your robot stuff.
no subject
Not really. Only you and Luke actually took any interest in it and now you're both going to be dead and I'm stuck with -- [ just gestures at the rest of this group of assholes. ] That.
[ a slight pause here and then wait -- ]
Wait, did you only take any interest because of the whole ankle monitors thing? Did you want to use me for some weird staff thing because if so, not cool? Not cool.
no subject
No, I'm not staff. I wanted to learn how to build robots, is all. Sorry that you have to stay here but who knows? Maybe Franziska will accuse you from beyond the grave and they'll all vote for you because of that.

Fuck, I forgot Dumpy in my room. I was gonna -- I mean, I know you can't like, take him with you to. Uh. Death. But if you could, man! If you could, you could totally have Dumpy. He's -- he's done a lot of good for me and he could be your death buddy and oh my god, this makes no sense. I'm sorry, man.
[ ughhhh. UGHHHH. he just shoves his hands in his hoodie pockets and fidgets a little. ]
If you're not sta-- Wait, no. Who cares. Right now, just. I hope your death is quick, dude. And I hope you made hers... long? Jesus, that sounds sociopathic.

Just fix Dumpy up for me, alright? He deserves it. He's a good robot. [ Ugh his best friend... ]
Thanks. She suffered but it wasn't really my intention. All I had was a baton.
no subject
Yeah, dude. Yeah. I mean, I guess I was dragging because I don't want to like, take the risk and break him? But god, dude, after all this, I'm totally going to try anyway and I don't know. He was kind of friendliest with you, I think aaaand I am babbling. Shit.
[ his leg taps up and down a little and he groans. except then when adam mentions the weapon he used, he goes a little pale and looks away from him. quietly then: ]
... You can do a lot with a baton.
[ but he doesn't bother to explain what he means and instead shakes his head. ]
Bye, Adam. It was nice knowing you for the small amount of time we got. I hope this, uh, brings you like... peace or whatever. Quiet.
