DAY 6 (afternoon) Complex Population: 27 At noon, the same tone from the morning rings out, and Judy's voice filters out over the intercom. "Good afternoon, residents. As per Safety Protocol 6227-A, it is time to conduct a trial to bring justice for the victim. Please proceed to the courtroom on the first level." Just as at night, if you don't go to the courtroom, you'll be treated to an electric shock of increasing strength until you go to the courtroom or are unconscious. Though considering the ominous penalty for not participating in a trial, you should likely just go rather than risk not voting because you've been knocked out by your own stubbornness... Once you're in the courtroom, you'll find that bottled water and light snacks are provided, but otherwise you'll have to bring anything else you may need. As you come to your conclusions about who to vote for, you can step into the judgement theater to cast your vote at the terminal. You may change your vote as many times as you'd like, but at 7PM, your vote (or lack thereof) is locked in. Abstaining didn't do anything to people last time. And like I said, I don't care how people vote. They're not going to be smart about this, they're going to choose whoever someone else tells them to.

You could die if enough people jump on you for this. You're telling me you don't care about that?

...Look. I don't think you're staff. [Because he'd be super obvious if he was] And you're right. No one here is really innocent. We don't know why they the staff doing this. Maybe they're being forced, or blackmailed. Luke is gone. Was his death right? I can't answer that. But he is gone. There's nothing you can do about that.

You have to think of you, now. I'm sure that's what he would want. And I sure as hell don't want any more innocent people to die.

I am thinking of me. [ Ugh he hates sympathy, don't mind him exploding. ] Do you think I'm just sad about Luke dying?

There's more to it than that and you don't know anything about it so I'd appreciate if you didn't act like you know me.

[Guy doesn't seem particularly bothered by Adam's exploding. He responds mildly.]

Fair enough. Like I said, I just don't want to see another innocent person die if I can help it.
