DAY 6 (afternoon) Complex Population: 27 At noon, the same tone from the morning rings out, and Judy's voice filters out over the intercom. "Good afternoon, residents. As per Safety Protocol 6227-A, it is time to conduct a trial to bring justice for the victim. Please proceed to the courtroom on the first level." Just as at night, if you don't go to the courtroom, you'll be treated to an electric shock of increasing strength until you go to the courtroom or are unconscious. Though considering the ominous penalty for not participating in a trial, you should likely just go rather than risk not voting because you've been knocked out by your own stubbornness... Once you're in the courtroom, you'll find that bottled water and light snacks are provided, but otherwise you'll have to bring anything else you may need. As you come to your conclusions about who to vote for, you can step into the judgement theater to cast your vote at the terminal. You may change your vote as many times as you'd like, but at 7PM, your vote (or lack thereof) is locked in. It is. [But he still doesn't think it's enough grounds for all of this.] Still, this boy must be feeling torn up about it too. I would assume that one's first reaction to something as horrible as this is going to be denial and defensiveness.

Regardless, I don't know if he's the right person to blame. [A pause.] But if he is, then I won't hesitate to acknowledge it.

Hm, perhaps. Personally if I had fallen for someone and found out they were staff in the course of a few days, I would feel more anger towards that person than denial or desire to defend them.

I don't know either, nor would I accuse him of anything based solely on his choice of lovers. [ UNLIKE SHIJIMA ] Yet, anyway. We still have time to discuss people who should actually be blamed.

I wouldn't be able to know the answer to that unless it actually happened to me. [If it was a Strong love, then perhaps.]

I'm glad you understand! We have plenty of time to find someone that's much more likely to be a killer, after all. There's no need to rush it now.
