DAY 6 (afternoon) Complex Population: 27 At noon, the same tone from the morning rings out, and Judy's voice filters out over the intercom. "Good afternoon, residents. As per Safety Protocol 6227-A, it is time to conduct a trial to bring justice for the victim. Please proceed to the courtroom on the first level." Just as at night, if you don't go to the courtroom, you'll be treated to an electric shock of increasing strength until you go to the courtroom or are unconscious. Though considering the ominous penalty for not participating in a trial, you should likely just go rather than risk not voting because you've been knocked out by your own stubbornness... Once you're in the courtroom, you'll find that bottled water and light snacks are provided, but otherwise you'll have to bring anything else you may need. As you come to your conclusions about who to vote for, you can step into the judgement theater to cast your vote at the terminal. You may change your vote as many times as you'd like, but at 7PM, your vote (or lack thereof) is locked in. In that case, I would agree that he was certainly doing something shady. But there are others that are not staff that Judy mentioned, yes? He could have been that. It's merely a possibility to consider.

If they're attacking us, then it doesn't matter if they're not staff - we can't trust them either! I don't care about the why right now, just the who. I'm not letting them get away with this.

I concur, but we have about as much information on that person as we do on the identities of all the other staff members...

Stupidest and infuriates me just as well. We have a hard enough time protecting ourselves against the ever-stacking favor into the staff's side but... now we have to deal with a different variable?

Kei acting on his own will would be the first time we've seen something like that, but... I do agree with you.

We don't know where Kei stands, as a staff member or a non-staff member, so we shouldn't jump to conclusions on that matter — at least, not this early on.

I'd have to say I agree. If this was the work of those six non-staff, they made a critical error. Both in execution and decision...

What do you mean by "for the sake of it"? Do you mean that Kei or Bigby woke up and decided to kill people?

[ despite his wording, he still sounds entirely calm, rather than angry. it's the only way they're going to get anything done during this trial. ]

[She huffs and glares at him, her fingers digging into her arms as she keeps them folded across her chest.]

Was he acting strangely, or meeting with people, or...?! Ugh, how can you not notice one of your roommates gearing up to stab someone? Was he with you when you went to sleep?

The medication in the commissary is the only medication that is available for your use.

In the future, I would simply advise that you take more care around areas that have warning signs posted.

Then, do you want me to explicitly state that "Bigby tore out Kei's throat"? I don't even know if that's true. Also, do you know how that would make him sound? Think about it, Alice.

Making Bigby sound like a murderer isn't what you want to be doing. It also isn't what I want to be doing.

[ They've already talked with Bigby, as much as they could, so she hopes among him sobering up, he can defend himself properly. She has her suspicions of everyone, but the guy was absolutely mangled at this point. He'll be an easy target by staff if they want to finish the job.

She just wants the dead bodies to stop. ]

So we have to ask: why and how? How did someone get access into the room and how was Kei armed further?

[ Elizabeth's striking a cigarette, nbd. ]

We don't need a damn vigilante when we're all worried about our own hides.

[For a moment, Alice is tempted to just hurl Leo at the bench.

Instead, she kicks it for a third time before turning on her heel and storming off, Leo in tow.]

It would have been Kei doing that. Simple logic tells us that Bigby really was in our room when he was attacked, and that he reacted in retaliation. The wounds and the fact that there's blood where he was sleeping should confirm that, should they not? So don't go about saying that Bigby could have woken up and decided to kill people, lest you mislead everyone.

From what I know, no one has... Earlier this morning, Ciel mentioned that he thinks the blood in the fountain might have something to do with her disappearance.
