DAY 6 (afternoon) Complex Population: 27 At noon, the same tone from the morning rings out, and Judy's voice filters out over the intercom. "Good afternoon, residents. As per Safety Protocol 6227-A, it is time to conduct a trial to bring justice for the victim. Please proceed to the courtroom on the first level." Just as at night, if you don't go to the courtroom, you'll be treated to an electric shock of increasing strength until you go to the courtroom or are unconscious. Though considering the ominous penalty for not participating in a trial, you should likely just go rather than risk not voting because you've been knocked out by your own stubbornness... Once you're in the courtroom, you'll find that bottled water and light snacks are provided, but otherwise you'll have to bring anything else you may need. As you come to your conclusions about who to vote for, you can step into the judgement theater to cast your vote at the terminal. You may change your vote as many times as you'd like, but at 7PM, your vote (or lack thereof) is locked in. But according to Judy, Kei was armed by two of the six who were mentioned to be working against the staff. That means we're looking and two entirely different sets of culprits this time.

There was no blood trail, but bruises on her knees and shoulders. I'm not a coroner so I can't really say.

Maybe you should bring the concerns up? Rally the troupes for us to look for wounds?

[ She can't really think Bigby was involved in this since the distance was obviously mismatched with the time. There would be too much evidence. ]

Right. Someone else started looking suspicious after we voted for him, so we changed our votes.

[But at least she's not Rhys or Jack, both of who are... probably in the corner. Feeling miserable. It's like #borderlands karma.]

I agree. And we need to consider Bigby stated that Kei tried to kill him as a "favor" to someone. I would say that makes them responsible for Kei's death, as well. He wouldn't have been in your apartment if no one had armed him and sent him off to kill a person they suspected.

Oh, my mistake then. Though how wonderful, more people trying to kill us. One set doing it themselves and another "hiring" out their work.

Anyway, they're not going to want to admit it at all, so we're just going to have to figure out how to make them.

That said, I do also think that as long as the majority has an issue voting based on conjecture rather than "fact" we will probably lose. It's something I resigned myself to after the last trial. Or before it.

It's a place to start. There's absolutely no reason to lie about last time's votes, so we should make them tell us who is lying.

Before we get too pressed for time and we start blindly firing... [ :( ] I'd like to discuss who our major suspects are.

[ She's kind of hovering next to Bigby, keeping an eye on his wounds and trying to prevent him for ordering a whiskey. ]

And also to discuss why they're suspicious. We're in an arena lacking logic but that doesn't mean we have to play by that rules. Veronica wants communication - so let's try it.

Let's talk suspicions without fear of hurting someone's feelings.

[Rhys is, indeed, probably covered in vomit. That's what happens when you drink the murder kool-aid.]

As if we had little to worry about as it was. Now we have to be on the lookout for vigilantes.

Apparently we have four people claiming to have voted abstain, while only three votes were registered abstentions. I would like that cleared up. There is absolutely no reason to lie about your vote unless you have something to hide. And if you have something to hide, you're suspicious.

I was listening to people when they were talking before...

[Alice pipes up, shuffling over with Leo on her back. She doesn't look well - she's pale and unsteady on her feet - but she's gotten tired of sitting down.]

Four people said they abstained last time, but only three did. Bigby was one of them, and I believe him.

So I think right now, the others are looking more suspicious. Hitsugi, Cici- I mean, Ciel, and Ava. Of those three, I think Hitsugi and Ciel are the most suspicious, based on their behavior and the fact that they're both small enough to have been targeting children the last two times.

After speaking to Miss Elizabeth, we should check for recent injuries in relation to Franziska's death.

Other women should check Miss Elizabeth [BECAUSE HE SURE ISN'T SCANDALOUS] since she has said both her and Bigby had a dislike for Franziska. Bigby already has injuries from last night. The other person to check is Adam due to his relations to Luke.

I'm not opposed to checking Elizabeth should she not mind me doing so, but it seems unlikely this will lead to much...

Do we know if Franziska would have been awake in order to fight back? I would rather not make another person strip if it's unnecessary.

Bigby received wounds from his attack. Both did. I feel it is unlikely Franziska would go down without a fight.

If she fought back, someone would have fresh injuries. It isn't a guarantee, but it is worth an attempt.
