Everyone has exited their rooms, but she's unaccounted for. [His eye, still a little festered from the irritation of the eyepatch on the glass wound, looks toward the viewing theater.]

What about yesterday, earlier? Did you see her at all?

As for that... As I recall, the last time that I saw her was the night before last. I had assumed that she left for breakfast first, but if no one else saw her after that point...

No. There were some idiots that fell in. I'm not sure if they found anything.

But that only means the water reservoir isn't directly beneath the fountain. At my estate, elevation is essentially what circulates the water.

If they did, surely they would have said something...

[One would hope, but then again this is the home of Stumps and the Amputation Squad.]

Does that mean you think the source of water is coming from above, then?

I don't know.

Based on this facility, the reservoir could be anywhere. Electricity is likely involved in moving the water. If the girl is dead, and the killer had been a staff, we won't be able to find a body, I'm assuming. They could have access to places we do not.

[He frowns.] Perhaps we should find something to check inside the fountain again.

I wouldn't know that. She wasn't in my room. [ So they're going to have to find those people. ]

But it's not like we should just expect the staff to kill one person at a time, right? She... was scared and weak.

But I don't think it's reasonable to assume even someone like her was scared or weak.
