DAY 6 (morning) Complex Population: 27 It's 8AM, and you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always. There's breakfast avaliable in the cafeteria if you want it, as well as meals from 11AM-12PM and 7PM-8PM, but otherwise? The viewing stage is open. It seems that someone was busy during the night. — This post is for the second day as defined in the schedule. [ Since the wounds on Franziska are more difficult to judge the passage of time with, he'll only be able to tell that they were likely created no more than 6 hours ago. Assuming he's looking at this around 8am, anyway. ]

[ yes... he's just running around all over the place at 8am. it's murder season, apparently, and he has to check out every situation.

but thank you! so with that in mind, he'll quickly make his leave, leaving the rest of this up to the current group. ]

[ this is pretty early for Steve, too, but Franziska being mysteriously absent from the room when everyone else woke up put the fear of the worst into his mind. A fear that, apparently, has been justified.

He's running up as Dazai leaves. ]

-- Hey! What's going on?! Is she...?

[ finally... the untouched room 3 has been touched with death. but steve will catch him at the right time, actually, and he stops in his tracks.

his expression looks somber, but not too upset, as he fills in the blanks that steve leaves behind. ]

...She's dead. Others are investigating right now, but I just wanted to see something for myself.

[ really, he already knew that her absence meant nothing good. still, actually hearing it is worse. he clenches his fist. it's not that he particularly liked her - he didn't, actually - but someone in their room dying shows him just how vulnerable he is, despite his attempts to be tough and protect the room. ]

Dammit! [ THEIR GENIUS ROOM DEFENSE FAILED?? ] How'd she die? Did they cut her foot off, too?

[ clearly, one of these staff members has super strength!! but he pauses to think, recalling the image of her dead body... along with her wounds. ]

I can't say for sure, but it looked as if she'd been beaten to death. There was blood near her head, and she was bruised in several different areas.

[ which is kind of ironic, given lara and luke and elizabeth and the bat of "good intentions"... revenge killing indeed. ]

That's the strangest thing, actually. Both her feet are still there.

[ maybe the staff members have sensitive feelings and didn't like being called toe fetishists.... ]

[ in retrospect, he's not sure why he asked. he supposes he just wanted to know. Steve runs a hand through his hair, forehead creased with stress. ]

Then she's totally different from the other two victims. [ the reason for that is obvious enough. ] It must be because she spoke up the other day and got one of their guys killed.

Given how she was during the last trial, I'm not too surprised to see her dead, actually.

[ somehow, she had it coming... even if seeing how she probably suffered on her way to death's door is just, yikes. ]

But that means the staff members are protective of each other, right?
