DAY FIVE

DAY 5
Complex Population: ???

It's 8AM, and you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always.

There's breakfast avaliable in the cafeteria if you want it, as well as meals from 11AM-12PM and 7PM-8PM, but otherwise? The day is yours. Take your time to explore the complex, relax, and enjoy each others' company, as who knows what the next day has in store?

Though as you explore, you may notice that there's a new door unlocked and a new place for you to spend the day. Even better, it's two rooms! You'll find a dated computer lab, but at least you can play classics like Kid Pix and Ski Free. Connected to the lab is also a small movie theater, though the movie selection only goes up to 1940...

Also, anyone taking a stroll by the fountain this morning may notice something odd about it. The water is red.

This post is for the first day as defined in the schedule. This post is for general mingling and CR buidling, and will not include significant plot interaction.

If it'll help us get out of here, sure.

[She shrugs.] But I'm not interested in escaping this place by dying, so unless he's willing to start spilling the other staff members' secrets from beyond the grave, I don't see what the point is.

I think if he was planning to tell us anything, he would have done that before he died. There's probably a way they've gained his loyalty.

But it could lead us to a way out. [ He doesn't really believe that but he wants other people to be interested in this. ] He has a computer and a network that's not necessarily this room. He's somewhere else, so we should find that.

If he's somewhere we can get to, why wouldn't he have told you where it is? [Alice raises an eyebrow.] He knows you want to see him again, doesn't he?

[ There's a pause and he shakes his head. ] He thought I wouldn't read the email. He probably thinks I'm mad about the lying.

... He said probably no one cares about him dying. Maybe he's not telling us because of that. I'd need to get a message back to him or multiple people could.

If he really thought you wouldn't read it he wouldn't have sent it, dummy. The fact that he sent it all shows he was hoping.

[If it... really was him who sent it. She still wouldn't be surprised if this was all a figment of Adam's grief-stricken imagination, or if Judy was the one sending the message.]

I don't know anything about that kind of stuff - [she waves a hand at the computers] - so don't ask me how to send something back. But if he's haunting us, wouldn't he be able to see right now that you want to talk to him?
