DAY FIVE
![]() Complex Population: ??? It's 8AM, and you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always. There's breakfast avaliable in the cafeteria if you want it, as well as meals from 11AM-12PM and 7PM-8PM, but otherwise? The day is yours. Take your time to explore the complex, relax, and enjoy each others' company, as who knows what the next day has in store? Though as you explore, you may notice that there's a new door unlocked and a new place for you to spend the day. Even better, it's two rooms! You'll find a dated computer lab, but at least you can play classics like Kid Pix and Ski Free. Connected to the lab is also a small movie theater, though the movie selection only goes up to 1940... Also, anyone taking a stroll by the fountain this morning may notice something odd about it. The water is red. This post is for the first day as defined in the schedule. This post is for general mingling and CR buidling, and will not include significant plot interaction. ic rulebook character statuses character profiles private conversations graveyard |

[Meanwhile, Alice is just going to keep eating her slop because it's disgusting but she wants to survive long enough to make the staff members pay.]

[but he too, does not seem to stop eating the slop, because now he's just going to be defiant towards the staff by aggressively not dying, hopefully. it's fine, right? totally fine.]

[And starving herself to death wouldn't really accomplish that, sooo.]

Well, I'm sure as hell glad we're on the same side right now.

[But if he does turn out to be a staff member he better hope there's like ten locked doors between them so she can't get to him.]
no subject
[which isn't an outright admission or denial, but some guys just suck at being direct. and alvin is one of them.]

[She spoons up a bite of oatmeal and gives him an appraising look.]
So once you're done choking this stuff down, what are your plans for the day?
no subject
[like seeing who could suspiciously be staff.] You?
no subject
[Not that she really expects anyone to have left clues lying around, but - it can't hurt to look.]
no subject
[obviously, he's going to check things out too—but it definitely is just one more question to be raised here.]

[Alice shrugs.]
The things behind the locked doors so far have been more expensive than the things we first had access to. Maybe they're unlocking the more expensive things as we go along so there's less people to use them.

I wonder if there's something else to it. Or, who the hell knows, maybe it's just another way of toying with us.
