DAY FIVE

DAY 5
Complex Population: ???

It's 8AM, and you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always.

There's breakfast avaliable in the cafeteria if you want it, as well as meals from 11AM-12PM and 7PM-8PM, but otherwise? The day is yours. Take your time to explore the complex, relax, and enjoy each others' company, as who knows what the next day has in store?

Though as you explore, you may notice that there's a new door unlocked and a new place for you to spend the day. Even better, it's two rooms! You'll find a dated computer lab, but at least you can play classics like Kid Pix and Ski Free. Connected to the lab is also a small movie theater, though the movie selection only goes up to 1940...

Also, anyone taking a stroll by the fountain this morning may notice something odd about it. The water is red.

This post is for the first day as defined in the schedule. This post is for general mingling and CR buidling, and will not include significant plot interaction.

[ he's right there with you, pal. lack of sleep is probably a good thing. if someone can get a decent eight hours here, they should be considered suspicious. ]

I'm talking mainly about last night. Luke was considered innocent but had an employee ID number. He didn't make it hard to believe he was actually guilty, yet there's a reason the system listed him as such.

[ the red water does get him curious, however. ]</small Don't know much about the red water yet. I saw some people surrounding the fountain but I thought they were just inspecting it because of Luke. What's going on with that?

[ Steve shrugs. ]

Depends on if what Judy said was true, I guess... She said he didn't actually kill anyone. Maybe not all of the staff members are bad guys? Aside from the whole keeping us here against our will thing, [ he adds dryly. Honestly, he's not sure what to believe, either. He doesn't want to trust Judy, but she is the only person in the whole place that has any information she's willing to part with. Even so, he can't shake the feeling that she's just another maniac like Alfred, giggling behind the scenes, safe in her bedroom as she watches them remotely. ]

I saw 'em by the water, too, but I didn't ask about it. They were shoving each other in there and I didn't wanna get thrown in, too.

Hm. Goes with the theory that Dojima brought up in the trial. I think he said... something about a different killer seeming possible for both Charles and Rayfa. Looks like Luke hadn't had his chance yet.

[ which makes him wonder if Luke did plan on killing someone. it's hard to tell by now, but again... he wasn't exactly willing to accept his loss when he was summoned to the cage. it was a tough scene to watch even for Bigby. ]

Hopefully they find out more about it and decide to bring up their findings before the next person gets killed.

[ and the fact that they have to accept it's a great possibility was even tougher. ]

[ steve has little doubt that they're all just waiting their turn at bat - no pun intended. He hates playing these little games. ]

Could be that... Or they might just have one assassin while the others... I don't know, take notes or something. These sickos always have some nasty reason for what they're doing.

[ a frustrated shake of his head. ]

They took away my guns, now they're picking us off one by one, starting with the kids... Bunch of cowards.
