DAY FIVE

DAY 5
Complex Population: ???

It's 8AM, and you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always.

There's breakfast avaliable in the cafeteria if you want it, as well as meals from 11AM-12PM and 7PM-8PM, but otherwise? The day is yours. Take your time to explore the complex, relax, and enjoy each others' company, as who knows what the next day has in store?

Though as you explore, you may notice that there's a new door unlocked and a new place for you to spend the day. Even better, it's two rooms! You'll find a dated computer lab, but at least you can play classics like Kid Pix and Ski Free. Connected to the lab is also a small movie theater, though the movie selection only goes up to 1940...

Also, anyone taking a stroll by the fountain this morning may notice something odd about it. The water is red.

This post is for the first day as defined in the schedule. This post is for general mingling and CR buidling, and will not include significant plot interaction.

[she goes over and looks, pausing slightly once it's obvious there's nothing there]

No. What am I supposed to see, Adam?

There was a letter there. I guess it's gone now. It was from Luke. Like he sent it after his execution.

... Do you think I'm crazy?
turinged: (not above them)

[personal profile] turinged 2016-10-18 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
...No, I do not.

[but she does look alarmed, glancing back at him.]

What did it say?

A lot of things. It was kind of... like a parting letter. Explaining how he felt. He didn't say anything about how he sent it, just that he was gone. That people are probably glad he's gone.

... Who did you vote for?
turinged: (all i ask is one)

If he is gone, how did he contact you?

[she doesn't sound disbelieving, merely curious. it's strange to her, even if it is relieving in a way. she turns away from the computer now, facing him.]

I abstained. I do not know if it was the right choice.

Obviously I don't know. [ He sounds more sullen than angry about that. ] But he has to be... somewhere with a computer and a connection. I don't know, why wouldn't he tell me where he was?

... I think most people made a worse choice. Next time, we have to actually join efforts in voting.
turinged: (and go about their lives)

You know more about him than I did. Why do you think he did not tell you?

[it's troubling, to say the least. she knows luke was staff, but she thinks he should at least have wanted to ease adam's worries as much as possible... it must be true that she didn't know him at all.]

Yes. I don't think most people will be eager to make the same mistake twice.
