DAY FIVE
![]() Complex Population: ??? It's 8AM, and you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always. There's breakfast avaliable in the cafeteria if you want it, as well as meals from 11AM-12PM and 7PM-8PM, but otherwise? The day is yours. Take your time to explore the complex, relax, and enjoy each others' company, as who knows what the next day has in store? Though as you explore, you may notice that there's a new door unlocked and a new place for you to spend the day. Even better, it's two rooms! You'll find a dated computer lab, but at least you can play classics like Kid Pix and Ski Free. Connected to the lab is also a small movie theater, though the movie selection only goes up to 1940... Also, anyone taking a stroll by the fountain this morning may notice something odd about it. The water is red. This post is for the first day as defined in the schedule. This post is for general mingling and CR buidling, and will not include significant plot interaction. ic rulebook character statuses character profiles private conversations graveyard |
morning - cafeteria
prissystupidimpractical enough to starve himself on principle, so here he is, eating "breakfast", looking exhausted, and watching Bigby and the others through a mess of bangs and thick glasses.]Let's hear yours first.

when he hears from the messy haired boy, he stops and gives him a good look. should have probably expected to hear that. this is a town hall setting he was trying to give off, and that's normally a thing that happens... ]
Well. Should make sense to talk about the number of people we apparently have left per Judy. Four remaining staff, and six people doing who the fuck knows what. Maybe we should talk about what their whole point of existing should be, and if they're more aware of what is going on than the staff.

But he seems to be listening seriously, at any rate.]
To protect us? [A snort; he's being sarcastic.] Judy said they were working against the staff, but that doesn't mean they're on our side.

[ he reads your sarcasm and responds in turn with. sarcasm. who'd'a thunk. ]
I mentioned it to the people in my apartment, but I believe that means one third of who's left is either staff or one of those six. Unless Judy declined to mention Diva was supposed to be one of those six. I hope she's not that much of an asshole.
[ which is a great possibility. because she is, in fact, just a voice. a creepy, screwed up voice thanks to Rhys at that. ]

She said they're working against the staff. So unless the Diva we saw die was her identical twin sister, they're probably still alive. [Then again, there's no telling if Judy is petty and willing to fuck them over because Rhys Rhys'd on her. That's probably what Leo would do.
Anyway.]
Even if we catch and execute every single staff member, that's not going to get us out of here.

I know. It's more out of self-defense than anything. Stop the killing so we can stop putting time in these stupid ass trials and find a way out of here.
[ they've taken two of their five days up already. those could be used to press Judy harder, to think of alternatives on how the hell they're supposed to get some of these doors opened. ]
Like I told Steve. Get a staff member to start talking once we know they're staff ― [ he's learned his lesson, okay ] ― and that's probably our best bet.

But if we only find out when Judy announces it during a trial, we won't have time to interrogate them. [Since, y'know, they all get corralled into the murder room pretty quickly.] Do you have any ideas on how to find them before they kill someone else?
