DAY FIVE
![]() Complex Population: ??? It's 8AM, and you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always. There's breakfast avaliable in the cafeteria if you want it, as well as meals from 11AM-12PM and 7PM-8PM, but otherwise? The day is yours. Take your time to explore the complex, relax, and enjoy each others' company, as who knows what the next day has in store? Though as you explore, you may notice that there's a new door unlocked and a new place for you to spend the day. Even better, it's two rooms! You'll find a dated computer lab, but at least you can play classics like Kid Pix and Ski Free. Connected to the lab is also a small movie theater, though the movie selection only goes up to 1940... Also, anyone taking a stroll by the fountain this morning may notice something odd about it. The water is red. This post is for the first day as defined in the schedule. This post is for general mingling and CR buidling, and will not include significant plot interaction. ic rulebook character statuses character profiles private conversations graveyard |

Drowned—? [Is that he says first, before she mentions dysentery and Oregon and he realizes that oh, no, Elizabeth and Adam are still fine. Probably.] ...Is this meant to be a game?
no subject
[anyways.]
Yes. The goal it to reach a far away area before tragedy befalls your group.

[Before assuming that people had fallen into their neat blood fountain, good lord.]
That... mm. It's a strange choice of game for a place like this, isn't it? I can't help but wonder if they're trying to say something with this.

[a pause, pushing herself away from the terminal. it makes her feel a little frustrated at herself to put it like that, honestly.]

[Which he believes is still true. He just... isn't sure how easy it'll be to find.]
no subject
[that's ignoring the fact that she wouldn't know where to start with her efforts, of course.]

[He sounds a little frustrated himself, if only because he also has approximately zero idea of where to actually start with the whole "trying to be useful" thing.]
But if more and more of these areas are opening to us, the potential of finding something useful grows, too.

[it isn't said derisively; she's honestly curious about his answer.]

[That's the big hope, anyway.]

[she frowns. if they just search harder, surely there must be something...]

[What that is or where it may be, though, he has no idea.]
