DAY FIVE
![]() Complex Population: ??? It's 8AM, and you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always. There's breakfast avaliable in the cafeteria if you want it, as well as meals from 11AM-12PM and 7PM-8PM, but otherwise? The day is yours. Take your time to explore the complex, relax, and enjoy each others' company, as who knows what the next day has in store? Though as you explore, you may notice that there's a new door unlocked and a new place for you to spend the day. Even better, it's two rooms! You'll find a dated computer lab, but at least you can play classics like Kid Pix and Ski Free. Connected to the lab is also a small movie theater, though the movie selection only goes up to 1940... Also, anyone taking a stroll by the fountain this morning may notice something odd about it. The water is red. This post is for the first day as defined in the schedule. This post is for general mingling and CR buidling, and will not include significant plot interaction. ic rulebook character statuses character profiles private conversations graveyard |

[BOO. Onward to Fort Hall. They find another abandoned wagon but this time there's nothing in it... nobody wants to trade at Fort Hall and nothing useful is for sale there, either, so they continue on.
Next destination: Snake River Crossing. Kind of ominous, considering Shijima's snakebite. ...on the way they get lost again and lose 4 days. And just before they get to the river there's another wagon fire, but they only lose four sets of clothing.]
It's a thousand feet across. Wanna float it?

We're getting good at crossing rivers, I suppose. Where's the skill in this game...?

[He's still not dead, but it's more in line with what she expected to happen to Jeff.
On the way to the Blue Mountains, a box with "Bad Water" pops up a couple of times, but somehow no one gets sick? WEIRD. But now it's time to make a choice.]
Do we want to go to Fort Walla Walla or head for The Dalles?

[One of the oxen dies before they make it to the Dalles... but they have no choice but to keep on keeping on despite the hot August weather, the bad water, and the inadequate grass. 5 miles out they find an abandoned wagon with clothing and bullets.]
Okay, so we can either float down the Columbia River or take the Barlow Toll Road. I still don't want to pay anything and floating has worked for us so far... what do you say?

[ WHY NOT. WHY PAY WITH THEIR FAKE MONEY FOR SOMETHING THEY CLEARLY CAN DO ALONE. ]

[And their luck runs out because Britt is bad at minigames and didn't realize she could move the floating wagon when a rock was coming up...]
...oh, uh, oops. Sorry, Shijima.
[They make it the rest of the way without incident, though... welcome to Willamette Valley! ...oh. And that's. Oregon, apparently. Fck. If I'd known how to dodge the rocks they would have all survived.]
[Alfendi and Alice are the only survivors.]
What a weird game.
