DAY THREE

DAY 3 Complex Population: 33 It's 8AM, and you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always. There's breakfast avaliable in the cafeteria if you want it, as well as meals from 11AM-12PM and 7PM-8PM, but otherwise? The day is yours. Take your time to explore the complex, relax, and enjoy each others' company, as who knows what the next day has in store? Though as you explore, you may notice that there's a new door unlocked and a new place for you to spend the day. There's a workshop and tinkering lab that you can now access. It includes everything from power tools to more terminals (so no need to crowd around the commissary terminal to chat with Judy anymore). As tempting as all these tools may be, they cannot be removed from the lab. Only completed projects may be taken out of the lab. That said, it seems like someone may have already been here, as there's blood smeared on one of the terminal's keyboards. Also, anyone taking a stroll by the fountain this morning may notice something floating in the water: a boy's severed foot. — This post is for the first day as defined in the schedule. [She would rather be working with software, but. Well. No powers. No shortcuts. She'll give manually working one of the terminals a try later. For now, she settles on putting one of the coffee cup sized robots together. It's not exactly cutting edge technology, but it's... soothing? In a way.

She's in the middle of dealing with the wiring when Steve comes to snoop on her. Hello, roommate. Good to see he hasn't become a victim of a foot fetish joke...]

Steve considers her proposal for a second or two before shrugging, sliding himself into the space across the table from her. He's not the brightest crayon in the box, exactly, but he's interested in mechanical things - plus, she's right. There's nothing better to do. ]
