DAY THREE

DAY 3
Complex Population: 33

It's 8AM, and you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always.

There's breakfast avaliable in the cafeteria if you want it, as well as meals from 11AM-12PM and 7PM-8PM, but otherwise? The day is yours. Take your time to explore the complex, relax, and enjoy each others' company, as who knows what the next day has in store?

Though as you explore, you may notice that there's a new door unlocked and a new place for you to spend the day. There's a workshop and tinkering lab that you can now access. It includes everything from power tools to more terminals (so no need to crowd around the commissary terminal to chat with Judy anymore). As tempting as all these tools may be, they cannot be removed from the lab. Only completed projects may be taken out of the lab. That said, it seems like someone may have already been here, as there's blood smeared on one of the terminal's keyboards.

Also, anyone taking a stroll by the fountain this morning may notice something floating in the water: a boy's severed foot.

This post is for the first day as defined in the schedule. This post is for general mingling and CR buidling, and will not include significant plot interaction.

[ WELCOME ROOMIE, time to get out of the dumps... except, not really. Shit is horrible here. His request for clarification is greeted with a sigh. Things weren't ever simple - ]

Either or. If we're put out, I doubt we're going to wake by normal means. Could just narrow down where the killer came from - if he kills again. If we rig doors with alarms, we can see if one of them have been disrupted - narrows down the field a bit, don't you think?

[ The dumps are where he usually is so it works out -- though he can't focus on brooding by himself since Elizabeth's idea or plan(?) has merit in his opinion. ]

Even if the traps or alarms don't necessarily work as intended, if it leaves some kind of visible injury then it might help us out. [ A pause. ] Depending on where the injury is anyway, I doubt everyone will give themselves up to inspections even during a trial. [ Ookurikara almost fully expects there to be another one since these kinds of things aren't just accidents. Not by the looks of how Charles was left and his foot just thrown into the fountain of all things??? There's something weird going on anyway, he knows that much. ]

What if they had no choice? I'm not some dictator demanding mandatory inspections if we have to go to trial again, but... [ Not a bad assumption! The situation was bad, ticking onward even more hostile if the paranoia sets in. ] It's going to be bad. Put an animal into a corner... it's their nature to lash out.
