DAY THREE
![]() Complex Population: 33 It's 8AM, and you wake from that deep, dreamless sleep that enforces curfew as always. There's breakfast avaliable in the cafeteria if you want it, as well as meals from 11AM-12PM and 7PM-8PM, but otherwise? The day is yours. Take your time to explore the complex, relax, and enjoy each others' company, as who knows what the next day has in store? Though as you explore, you may notice that there's a new door unlocked and a new place for you to spend the day. There's a workshop and tinkering lab that you can now access. It includes everything from power tools to more terminals (so no need to crowd around the commissary terminal to chat with Judy anymore). As tempting as all these tools may be, they cannot be removed from the lab. Only completed projects may be taken out of the lab. That said, it seems like someone may have already been here, as there's blood smeared on one of the terminal's keyboards. Also, anyone taking a stroll by the fountain this morning may notice something floating in the water: a boy's severed foot. This post is for the first day as defined in the schedule. This post is for general mingling and CR buidling, and will not include significant plot interaction. ic rulebook character statuses character profiles private conversations graveyard |

Another method, then...? [Heck if he knows what, though.
But the offer of stew is a kind one, and after looking momentarily surprised, Sakyou offers a small smile.]
...Thank you. I might take you up on that offer when I feel able to eat a little more. [...] Despite the circumstances, many people here are still quite kind.
[Sans the ones hiding among them and picking them off, anyway.]

Gotta think of one first. Still... still working on that.
[ Elizabeth shuts her eyes tightly, as if she feels a migraine coming on. However, when he mentions the kindness, she's opening her eyes with a narrowed focus. ]
Kind is one thing, but you're not trusting anyone, are you?

If I can help, please let me know.
[He feels like it's the least he can do, to lend as much help as he can here. That question earns her a quiet lapse into silence, though, and then a relatively honest and straightforward answer.]
I wouldn't trust anyone to value my life over their own, which sets reasonable boundaries, I think.

[ Truly, she means it. There's been a limited amount of time for her to brainstorm on how to get out - helpless, she can't come to the conclusion she wants.
As he responds to her comment about trust, she'll nod. ]
Better than most. People need to be wise that the collective may seem to want teamwork and all that comes with it but... the killer is still here. Who knows what their next move would be.
[ Could just be a one-off murder, right? ]
Don't even trust me. [ Just puts that out there. ] I barely do that enough.

I'll certainly keep that in mind. I have no intention of dying foolishly after taking someone else's life to continue on. That would be far too cruel - too disrespectful. [Even if nothing really tops murder on the disrespect list HE'S TRYING NOT TO ADD MORE. And after a beat, he adds:]
I hope that you'll take care, as well.

[ It's reassuring, honestly. If there was anything to look towards, it was that people would keep an eye on the boy, a sympathy. ]
Hopefully, you won't have to do anything like that again. Just - [ She's not the best, but hey, she's friendly enough. ] Just focus on today, right? That's all we can do.

You're right... I'll allow myself to deal with what happened properly once we don't have to worry about it happening again, or to someone else.
[Because that sure isn't an experience he'd want anyone to suffer through, on either end of the proverbial sword.]
