 Complex Population: 34 At noon, the same tone from the morning rings out, and Judy's voice filters out over the intercom. "Good afternoon, residents. As per Safety Protocol 6227-A, it is time to conduct a trial to bring justice for the victim. Please proceed to the courtroom on the first level." If you're confused as to what she means, you'll see that the room across from the cafeteria is unlocked, as well as the room connected to it. Just as at night, if you don't go to the courtroom, you'll be treated to an electric shock of increasing strength until you go to the courtroom or are unconscious. Though considering the ominous penalty for not participating in a trial, you should likely just go rather than risk not voting because you've been knocked out by your own stubbornness... Once you're in the courtroom, you'll find that bottled water and light snacks are provided, but otherwise you'll have to bring anything else you may need. As you come to your conclusions about who to vote for, you can step into the judgement theater to cast your vote at the terminal. You may change your vote as many times as you'd like, but at 7PM, your vote (or lack thereof) is locked in. But if it helps the process along... Luke and I investigated the door that leads to this room during the morning. It was still locked, and showed no sign of tampering. So it could be that the murderer found another way in, or — perhaps that they already had accesses to the locked rooms.

Got some decent news, though. Anyone wondering more about the body... [ Elizabeth slaps down a stack of polaroids. ] While people were hurting themselves against the glass, I got some fairly decent shots of the body.
[ You'll be able to see most of the body, albeit some pixels and blurriness occurs. A few pictures have a flash against the window and others have Elizabeth's pinky covering half of them - look it's her first time. Either way, the pictures focus on the blood trail, the leg, the bat, and his head - it's not the best but it's certainly enough to get general ideas. ]
I think Bigby and I got everything we needed to get. All we can do from this distance.

Let's discuss what we know. Judy wants us to vote who we think killed Charles. Speaking to her has provided a few developments, however small they may be. She confirmed that the bat that killed him was not the one taken from the Commissary, and was actually in some defense locker. Of course it's fucking locked and available only to the staff.

The thing we need to keep in mind here is that Judy said the murder was not a surprise to her. She said not only was it expected, but that she has superiors operating differently than herself. Is that the supposed staff that killed Charles? I don't know. The bad news is she expects this to happen again. What's worst about this is we have to start thinking that these murders are pre-meditated and not personal. This broadens our search.
