morning, outside cafeteria;
["fake it til you make it" is the theme of the day for alvin, so as he makes his way to the cafeteria in the morning—well, he can be seen eyeing the entrance to the courtroom warily before drawing in a quiet breath and shaking it off.

it's fine. everything is fine, sometimes people just have to die, even when they're innocent. he can't change what happened. so.

it's fine.]

morning, cafeteria.
[alvin's not particularly enthused by breakfast. but the words that come out of his mouth after forcing down a forkful of unappetizing cafeteria food definitely sounds a lot more casual than his expression implies.]

The least they could do is give us better meals. It's almost like they want to kill us with this slop before someone else gets the chance.

[—or maybe it's a little bitter.

it's fine, right? sure.]

afternoon, media lab;
[it's only natural he wants to see what the new rooms look like—but alvin really wasn't expecting a room full of computers.

there was a time when he would have had to play pretty stupid about knowing how they work with any detail, but all that is out the window anyway. no use in hiding it. instead, he lets out a mildly amused chuckle, and states incredulously under his breath:]

Oh, wow. Haven't seen anything like this since I was a kid.

[but in many ways, alvin is, in fact, a manchild, so of course he's going to check them out, because as a kid, he wasn't allowed to actually play with them. not really, and even the computers he had seen where a bit less advanced than this. for whatever that may be worth.]

wildcard;
[because maybe someone wants their space invaded by alvin in more creative and different ways, that's fine.]
