DAY 4 (evening) Complex Population: 32 At 7PM, a tone rings out, but it's not Judy's voice that filters out over the intercom. "TALLYING VOTES. . ." The voice is mechanical and robotic, and a pause lingers in the air. It seems that the voting system is run by some kind of AI. "CONSENSUS REACHED. MAJORITY VOTE. TIE. RESULT 1. LARA CROFT. STATUS: INNOCENT. LARA, PROCEED TO THE JUDGEMENT THEATER. CHARGING..." There's the sound of clicking, and Lara will receive a very sharp shock to their ankle monitor. If they don't step into the judgement room, the shock will increase in strength every ten seconds until they're unconscious. Regardless, the voice continues to drone on. "RESULT 2. LUKE CASTELLAN, EMPLOYEE ID VTSCI62271053. STATUS: INNOCENT. LUKE, PROCEED TO THE JUDGEMENT THEATER. CHARGING..." Luke receives the same treatment, and finally, the last player is decided in the same way: "DESIGNATING EXECUTIONER. . . ELIZABETH. ELIZABETH, PROCEED TO THE JUDGEMENT THEATER. Elizabeth didn't expect the kind of words to slip past her lips mainly because it still doesn't feel real? ]

Right. Right. [ She repeats, thoughtfully. She was far too tired to dismiss the girl for something so mundane...so she just agrees. Tenderly, she holds onto her wrist, feeling it tense with every slight movement. ] You have experience with this, then...?

Of course. You pick up this sort of thing when you're as old as I am. And when you've gone to that sort of academy, or hung about those sorts of humans...

[ NINJAS. HER CANON IS FULL OF NINJAS. SHE'S ACTUALLY COMPETENT AT DEALING WITH BATTLE INJURIES. granted dealing with her own tended to be less. first-aidy. but she can handle this. ]

Shall we go to the bathroom? It'll be easier to clean you up and get things sorted there.

I'll make sure to respect my elders then. [ She says dryly. Whatever history she has, she doesn't have the mind to pry for it. NINJAS OR NOT, THIS WILL BE A LATER DISCUSSION. ] If you think that's best, I'll follow your lead.

[ She looks back over her shoulder to Lara, pitifully trying to keep herself together. ]

[ she refuses to play medic to anyone she does't...like...lmao......... ]

I won't advertise it. If you offer a service too much, it'll become such a high demand. I get it.

[ Elizabeth says with a weak smile. She won't turn the girl into some endless medic without her consent.

For now, she'll take this act of kindness as more of a barter. She'll go ahead and follow! ]

[ once they're there, shijima will just direct liz to like. a shower bench. whatever this works. she can get water from the sink and use a towel and then clean off some of the blood and see what the fuck she's working with. there's no cuts she'd have to sew up she hopes? but she can do that.

what's liz's injury status on the whole... ]

There is that...also, some of the idiots here are injuring themselves in dumb ways. I won't help with that.

[ There are definitely benches here and no one can stop us. Elizabeth is a mess, the blood sticking to her shirt, but she'll roll the sleeves up enough to show her limp wrist. Cleaning up was important but she wanted to be ready for that after the injury was taken care of.

Elizabeth's wrist is sore, tender, but there's no breaking of skin. It was a fracture and her bone would need time to heal. ]

Be careful with that too. [ She warns. ] Show yourself component and people beyond the injured will take notice. If these kills start to get more concentrated, they'll run out of kids. They'll go for people of use.

[ She sighs, looking at her hand. ]

Since I appear to be a child to the untutored eye, I doubt it matters either way if I am or am not competent. I certainly don't give a damn about what the staff thinks of me. My only interest is not being dragged into anything troublesome.

[ she is surprisingly careful about examining liz's hand. but then, shijima has allowed small birds to perch on her without harming them, before. she's capable of being gentle when she feels like it, rarely. ]

It's a fracture. I'm going to need to fashion you a splint for it. ...Why don't you shower off? I'll bring back a change of clothes and what I'll need. I can probably scrounge up materials from the operating lab, if not other places as well. Icing it may help it to feel better, as well.

As long as you're sure. [ She's not sure if she pegs the girl as cocky or self-assured. Elizabeth doubted herself tremendously since she walked out of the room alive. ] I won't let you or anyone else come to harm. Not after ... after this.

[ The examination goes smoothly, and she looks down to her lap a but when she gives her diagnosis. ]

Right. That'd be for the best. [ Elizabeth is distinctively different - more meek, if it wasn't for the shock, it was more mannered. ] Thank you. I appreciate the aid. I can... only imagine how that looked.

[ Would they see Luke and Lara when they looked at her? She wonders, unbuttoning her own shirt and beginning to take the blood-soaked garment away. Her undergarments are definitely outdated, which includes a corset that fits her entirely too tightly. Either way. She'll take the girls guidance to go shower off when she can. If Shijima leaves, she'll call out briefly: ]

Don't use too many resources, however. We may be needing all we can get.

[ with...clothes purloined from liz's room that looked like they might be liz's, and some makeshift bandages cut up from pillowcases stolen from other people's rooms. not hers. :) shijima is a dick

but yeah whenever liz is done she'll just be waiting casually outside the stall. ]
